My goal for 2020 is pretty simple.

I want to work up to walking each day.

I am in poor condition and need the exercise on a daily basis.

I am thinking first goal is to walk 3x a week for 30 mins or thereabouts. I live in the downtown area so its safe to walk whenever.

I want to figure out how to ride a train to visit my parents (I don't drive or have a car) so they don't have the burden of driving down and picking me up, and I can see my brother and nieces more too. I can't go on longer trips though with my pet turtles staying at home by themselves, but I can do 4-, maybe 5-day trips. Sometimes I wonder if I should rehome them already but that's another topic. Anyway, it could be a step to more adventure too, who knows, start small I suppose.

I want to practice a little more self-care and not be all about work and that time for myself is important too. At least I invited myself to Christmas at parents instead of staying home alone to work, work. I want to add more variety to my menu. I used my Amazon credits to buy a digital cookbook today. Usually I think it's a waste to do that with all the free info out there, but I have no idea what to use the credits on and it might be inspiring. I want to get more fit and lose a bit more weight.

Not much on my list but I think it would be an accomplishment. A lot of time was spent in semi-panic mode this year and things turned around enough, yet I'm starting to feel burned out. The "work, work" has kept me from thinking the darker thoughts for some time, being a crutch. What's next. I just hope the social interaction of the holiday doesn't blow up in my face. That would derail one of my resolutions before the New Year even arrives.

The digital cookbook sounds like a nice treat to yourself @shelled1.

I purchase books on anxiety and it doesn't feel like a waste even though there are a million and one free guides etc... Paying for it makes you more dedicated to using it and it helps to start cracking on it and a start is a start, baby steps. Well done. Good luck for 2020.
