I was part of a study years ago on perception & experience of pain and they hypothesized that people with high pain thresholds have built these practically titanium defenses in themselves against pain they felt in the early years of their lives. So as adults not very much causes us to feel pain. That's not to say we don't have our volcanic buttons though. Even though we might have low levels of interpersonal emotions, certain life events can trigger an explosion.




Then when it got better... I fell from the stairs.
I can't do anything with my arm, I really crushed it, but it's more like a 5. Manageable. I prefer that a million times more to the other pain. ^^ Anyways.
