I know that is his plan, to kick start a US manufacturing boom. As I understand it, he's harping back to the 50's where the US was dominated global manufacturing and he's banking on tariffs reviving boom. But that was an era with a set of conditions that are not currently present today. Also, shifting production to the US would be prohibitively expensive for many companies. Will they be willing to take that risk when there is no guarantee tariffs will remain in place for months, let alone years? While some firms have begun exploring US manufacturing expansion, many may simply wait out the uncertainty and see what happens once the dust settles.

My cat cally has been discharged yesterday. Lily remains in the isolation room at the vet for a few more days. I am perpetually broke.
The vet finally took my plea to check lily’s teeth and said we’re going to act on it once she recovers and gains weight.
I do not have the comprehension skill of a competent adult, my law book doesn’t make any sense.

I can't really stand my mother anymore.
I really don't know if I'm ever gonna have a normal relation to her. She is just too irrational and she just snaps and tries to hurt everyone every time someone argues with her.
She is the kind of person who loves to ask for help to everyone, and them just mistreat those people that just helped her 20 seconds ago.
Maybe I'm petty, but I don't have the obligation to tolerate the bad "quirks" of other person just because I have to be good with my mother.
But she is so petty and dramatic that arguing with her is harder than just letting it go. Or maybe I'm just too tired to fight.

I lost sleep trying to make sure I have enough time to study and visit lily at the vet, I didn’t do well in the class nor am I expecting to pass it and I might as well get a warning from the department.
I am tired physically and mentally.
I have to mop the floors and do laundry, my cat cally even looks sicker and is very difficult to get her to eat or take her meds.
I have a rash on my belly, I passed out from too much exhaustion only to get awaken by my other cat’s claw puncturing my belly, it hurt so bad I almost blacked out on her and she did it three times, I screamed and lashed out on everyone
This is really too much.

I can not believe the additional 3 more days worth of confinement added 3x more than what was her 5 days withstanding bill.
I really hope the entire world does something to subsidize the cost Even as humans, dying is much cheaper than living and thats insane.

My state recently passed a bill that says women, or those who can bare children, cannot have an abortion even if they are a victim of r#pe or in#est.
Politicians need to stay out of the doctors offices and stop dictating the care that people need for themselves.
Our bodies. Our rights. Our choices.
i myself would not want an abortion, but i am not going to tell another person what they can and can't do to their bodies.
Victims do not deserve the trauma and hurt they endured and they most certainly do not deserve to carry that pain for 9 months if they choose not to.
None of this is okay. i worry for my little sister and her future. i worry for her friends, every woman, every person that is able to carry a child.

i am against most abortions, but for rape or the mothers health there should be exceptions. and even if i disagree strongly with most abortions a womans body is hers.
i think that it should be a law no abortion unless it's an emergency exception that the father has to consent, and to prevent a woman from saying they don't know the father, so no paternal consent no abortion.
this is because of what a woman did to me. we were dating pretty heavy and she got pregnant. wanting to do the right thing i offered to marry her or help supporting the little tyke. she asked for help with an abortion and i said NO!!!!!. A few weeks later she said she took care of it, we never spoke again. men have feelings also. i have lost 2 children the abortion and my wife miscarried once. to this day my wife and i talk about the miscarriage and what he/she would have grown into. so anyone interested in getting an abortion please talk to the father, we care about the unborn child or at least some of us do.

Abortion is one of those like many political and social issues where I normally am hands off. It can be too emotional. I do not like that it came be an all or nothing issue with no shades of gray for many while real life does and can get cloudy. Overall I stick to libertarian ideas of live and let others make their peace with the results.
Most definitely the fathers need to be included as it isn't just the mothers child (obviously not regarding when it comes to r@pe). Medical emergencies happen. Most of the people i hear of needing abortions due to emergencies, often want to save their child if it means risking their own lives. But requiring someone to have the fathers consent before an emergency abortion i feel is extremely risky. Obviously no father would want to loose their child nor would an expecting mother in an emergency. But if the father refuses an emergency abortion when a mother/significant others life is on the line and is at risk of dying too, it feels unfair to refuse them the care they need in order to stay alive all because the father isn't willing to allow it. Both partners need to discuss it together, but i am on the fence about the fathers having to give their permission in order for the one carrying the child to be allowed to go through with what could be a life saving procedure. It is terrible enough to loose the chipd but more devastating to loose the child and a partner.
Being someone who has been r@ped before, it is devastating to think that people can and will be forced to endure a pregnancy they never consented or asked for. not everyone can endure reliving that trauma.
It is a very sensitive topic and often times i don't say much because i am not in charge of other peoples bodies. i agree others will make their choices and be the ones to live with those results. But the ones setting laws that prevent those who have been victims of r@pe from doing what they feel is right for themselves, do not live with the consequences for those individuals.
of course any woman abused getting pregnant that way would and should be allowed to have the abortion without paternal consent, the same with emergency procedures. i am somewhat also thinking if a girl makes a mistake itt;s possible to rectfy it once and only once. but no matter what the father should be involved. either way no matter what a woman has a right to her own body

My elderly father's home has been targeted in four separate attempted break-ins, all occurring late at night. Fortunately, his recently installed doors, including new security doors, have successfully prevented intruders from gaining entry. I'm planning to review the footage from his front-facing security camera next time I see him. It's deeply concerning, gutless and cruel that someone would repeatedly prey on an elderly person like this.
