Yeah, no. We all try moderation at some point and it always ends badly.

This is exactly me when it comes to alcohol. Saying no to the first drink is very very easy. It requires no willpower at all. But once I've had that first one, it gets progressively harder to say no to each subsequent drink. I can't have one or two; once I start, I'mma keep drinking until I pass out. Thankfully I'm a friendly cuddly happy drunk, unlike some people I've known, but still it's much better and much easier to just not have that first one.

You just paid to live uncomfortably.

Well, rock and metal concerts don't typically have seats. If you try to sit at one of those, it's actually considered quite rude to the artist and makes it seem like you aren't into the music.

Usually VIP tickets allow you to come first, so you can get the first row, which is The Place To Be. Otherwise you need to come much in advance, camp in front of the venue, then make your most beautiful sprint to the barrier. lol The atmosphere of the crowd also makes more than 50% of the concert in my opinion. It's not uncivilized people there, it's people living the show to the fullest. I really recommend the first row if that's possible for you, practically and mentally.

Well, there's still people who like to sit and just enjoy the concert and the music, and I don't think artists consider that rude. They came to the show after all. :p Also people who aren't able to stand for 3 hours, with disabilities but without wheelchairs, people who don't like crowds, also children sometimes, older people, sick people... The crowd is not for everyone either. I actually sometimes find it sad that the smaller venues don't have some seats for these people.

Well, it depends on the band and the venue. But I know like Slipknot, for example, does not want people sitting at their shows. Corey Taylor will probably personally kick you out of the concert if he sees you sitting lol.

My dog is purposely being a pain in the ass today. He keeps crying to go outside even though he doesn't have to go. And I'm like, dude, "It's cold, muddy, and rainy out; I'm not going to stay out here and play with you. You can play inside." Then when he finally actually went to the bathroom and came back in, he started jumping on everything with his muddy ass paws. So I went and washed his paws with his oatmeal shampoo. He didn't like that too much, and then started picking up random trash off the floor and trying to eat it. I told him "no" twice, and he still did it a third time after the fact. So I screamed, "That's it, go lay down! Bad dog!" And now he's laying there with the cute face, like, "I'm sorry...don't be mad at me." :rolleyes:

I feel bitchy, but I don't like the idea of babysitting on a moment's notice when I've had no sleep. I shouldn't say that either, because he was just in the hospital again and I worry about him. But I also worry about myself and how much I can deal with.
