Why is my dog such a freak? He was scared of the rain last night so I had to sleep on the sofa with him. And now I ache like hell.

Mine always thinks it's someone outside because the rain keeps hitting the awning near the doorway. He starts barking, like, "Where are they?! Let me get at them! I got the door covered; you guys stay put!"

My best friend is arriving in 5.5 hours for a couple of days and I still have to clean the upstairs, change her bedding, finish the Christmas decorations, wrap her gifts, cook dinner and go to my mothers to get her Christmas decorations out of the loft for her...
But I don't feel like doing any of it.

I've never had someone ask to buy a smoke. Yesterday it was one homeless guy and one lady that lives in my building and the apartment maintenance guy. Must be different where you are.

Used to be two of my cousins who used to bum smokes off me on a regular basis. The pair of fucking weasels, only times they put their hands in their pockets was probably just to "juggle themself."

Yeah, I guess Philly probably is different. Regular people in my neighborhood have never asked me for a cigarette. But as soon as I get down to the low income areas, I get like 4-5 people asking, especially if they see me smoking. Occasionally, those who have money will ask to buy a couple, but the homeless will always ask to bum one. If I'm already smoking, sometimes I'll just give them a short from the one I already have.

They somehow seem completely immune to sound. They literally had their fire alarm beeping for over a week (24 hrs a day every 30 seconds) and didn't seem the least be bothered. I am to the point where some form of retaliation seems fitting though.
