Sorry, I can’t stop crying since this morning, it just triggered something, a mental breakdown? I passed the security now, and found the lounges. My new flight is the same as the one from yesterday, I had to pay for it. The guy from security took from me a gift I had bought yesterday for my cousin’s birthday in the duty free area, a perfume, but it was more than 100ml. I explained to him, still crying, but he didn’t care... I’ll get home tonight, but I don’t know, I feel so bad... Sorry that I worried you, I really am. Everything seems to be crumbling right now.

@Auri I've got Nick on the case, researching what compensation you're entitled to. If you've had to pay for the new flight, they'll need to refund the original flight plus you should be entitled to compensation for the disruption it's caused you.

They damn well better refund it. They have no right to do what they're doing.

No, I need to ask for it. (Some companies don’t do it otherwise) Though my case will be much greater, I also had to pay for the second flight, for the perfume they took from me, my dinner tonight, and my screwed mental and physical health. :(

Auri, I've can't believe they have treated you in such a terrible way. So much has gone wrong in so many ways. I've had a quick look around and you are entitled under EU law to compensation. Although it probably doesn't cover the emotional distress you have been put through, hopefully you should be able to get something out of these turd-farmers.

Quite often these airlines will try to get out of paying compensation by hoping the passesngers are unaware of the regulations. This is disgraceful and highly shitty behaviour on their part and right now it has me pissing fire in absolute anger.
There's no way you should've had to pay for your flight, let alone your dinner tonight. I also expect you to get reimbursed for the perfume you brought. Granted it exceedd the 100ml onboard cabin limit, but fucks sake man if it was bought at duty free then let it go.
Don't let them push you around, we've all got your back here.

As a suggestion, as well as making a complaint to through the standard channels in order to get adequately compensated for your troubles, fire off an email to the head office/CEO of the airline, detailing your experiences, the shite you had to put up with and how it has affected you. Asking them can they be satisfied with how they have handled this situation and also why you should have confidence in using their airline in the future. This may open up a further oppourtunity for them to offer a goodwill gesture for what can only be described as nightmarish experience.

Thank you, Ash. ♡ they will never forget my case, trust me. I’m good at arguments like that. I’ll show you what I come up with. :p Though the Manchester airport is responsible for part of the issues. Thank you for taking my side. :)
