Lol I agree with you on all of this. I've been learning Dutch through Duolingo for like 6 months now, and it still gets tricky. Maybe I should have started off with an easier language

Yeah, the fact i spent a few years learning German has really been a blessing in a way.
There are so many similarities between German and Dutch, and it's really helping smooth the learning curve.
It's still jagged and steep as hell, but like, less so.
I will conquer it in time though, dangit!

I am not a soccer fan. But the World Cup is here. Games will be played in Seattle. I live just south of there. So I can't turn on the news on radio or tv without getting swamped with soccer stuff. And this will go on until late July. No offense intended for those who like soccer, but I will rejoice with the World Cup is over.

I know some German from high school, so I think that helped in a way, plus both languages are close to English. I am sure we'll both conquer Dutch eventually, difficulties be damned

I hate that. One year I was supposed to have a special dinner for my birthday, but I was getting over a cold and couldn’t taste much, so it ruined my time. I was so mad.

I used a CPAP for the first time last night, and it went better than I expected. The fact that I was able to sleep for a few hours with it on was surprising, given that I thought it would take longer to adjust to it. Now I need to tweak the settings because it said there was mask leakage, and it's around my mouth area because my throat and mouth were so dry when I woke up. My nose is a bit congested too. It also said I took off my mask 17 times, which is a lot more than I thought but I was probably repositioning it throughout the night. So hopefully tonight will go better.

I had to call my insurance today, and they had me on hold for a while. While the hold music was still playing, after I'd been sitting there for a while, the "please rate your satisfaction" survey started playing, then the call disconnected. How the fuck does that even happen? I had to repeat the whole intake process with another agent. But luckily they were able to find out that my issue had been resolved.

I applied for college last month and was accepted. It's a community College and I will be doing a 2 year program. The college however doesn't have their shit together it seems because there's so many things that are going wrong or not working and their lack of communication isn't helpful. I was finally able to get into my student portal that no one called me back after I gave them my #. I figured it out on my own. (That or they finally activated my account after I messaged).

Mom also isn't helpful either.

Also, extreme chronic fatigue...I hate it. I want more energy to do more things but I am always so exhausted.
