Nothing to apologise for, i write goofy lil similies like that in hopes they'll be amusing. Just cos i'm talking about serious feelings doesn't preclude me from doing so in an entertaining way.
And i know exactly what's triggered it all. My dad got really on my case and angry about me not doing various things i technically can do if i force myself to do them. Stuff like loading the dishwasher, or clearing hair out of the shower drain. Basic little tasks around the house, that i completely get being annoyed by a regular person leaving for the other person to deal with. Hell, i can get being annoyed at the circumstances that have made me leave them.
But instead, he chose to get mad at me, seemingly because he believed that since i technically can do them, i'm just opting not to, cos i can't be bothered, cos i don't care or something. When in truth, the actual reason is because they're beyond the level i can safely push myself to. I've been making steady gains with my OCD, and i have a lot more freedom than i used to. I can empty the bins with very minor stress. I can pick things up off the floor, and clean them without much trouble. I can change soap bottles, i can sit on the grass, i can walk around the house without any slippers on, with the one exception of the bathroom. All just a few examples of things that's become healthily achievable along the way.
The stuff that's left, the stuff he's getting mad at, is the stuff i did not feel ready to routinely face. He's forced my hand, and i now have to do them to keep the peace. But to do so, i've had to jump way ahead. And in doing so, i'm kinda just mentally poisoning myself, because i don't have the energy needed to handle those tasks, and also maintain all the progress i've already made so far. Something has to give, and i'm now not allowed to give up on those tasks, so it has to be the stuff that's allowed me to actually get better with my OCD, and my anxiety. It's a stupid, self-destructive, short-sighted decision on his part, and i can virtually guarantee the tiny amount of psychic splash damage he takes from the way it's going to royally fuck me up, will only serve to annoy him further. He'll never acknowledge it's literally his fault i'm backsliding and falling apart again in the first place.
