The goals thread

    So as have long weekend realize have lot should do...will see how I do
    -go swimming every day
    -get lab bloodwork done
    -make dentist appt
    -select health insurance plan etc
    -get estimate for new glasses
    -clean house and car
    -re-read Victor Frankl book Man's Search for Meaning
    -dinners with mother-in-law

    Be a happy individual and get rid of negative thoughts. Be productive, be proactive. Find meaning in life

    Well sometimes weekends don't go as planned...sigh...so after responding to irrigation flooding issue at historic site and additional visits with mother in law didn't accomplish all but made some headway...so these are now goals for the week,,,sigh...where there's a will there's a way i guess...and in grand scheme of things doesn't really matter that much...so onward and upward as they say...

    Goals for the week.

    1. Go to the gym twice this week
    2. Do clothes washing twice this week
    3. Do dishes everyday
    4. Be aware when I need to do self care
    5. Do said self care.

    1. Wake up on time
    2. Sleep before 12
    3. Don't skip meditation
    4. Clean up my house
    5. Do my paperwork

    I've been doing none of the above, it feels impossible right now, but I hope to try this week.

    - Volunteer regularly
    - Achieve an A1C of below 8.0, ideally low 7.0s, take care of Type 1 Diabetes well
    - Actually contact people (and socialize) during winter vacation
    - Try not to lose hope and give in midway through contacting
    - Go to bed on time and sleep with a regular schedule
    - Eat healthily
    - Help out with the house

    - try y hardest to eat healthily

    For tomorrow:

    Get hair done.
    Work on anxiety techniques
    Get some necessary shopping done

    Exercise for 30 mins. Will start with that then add more goals to the day if i can do that.

    So far I have gone from (DONT JUDGE ME) 8 cups of coffee to - one! Hell yes - just one!
    I feel calmer and I can fall asleep easier... also my skin looks better.
    I still shouldn't be drinking this stuff so My goal is to quit completely.

    My goalsfor this week:
    - eat smaller meals/snacks during the day (4-6)
    - drink lots of water - at least 6 glasses a day
    - continue to attend steel band weekly
    - go for a 30min walk twice a week
    - keep all appointments

    I have attended all appointments, had a busy week, went out 6 out of 7 days.

    I am getting better with drinking water, but don't always hit the 6 glasses goal.

    I went for a walk only once this week.

    I succeeded with keeping my meals small and more frequent and went to the steel band.

    Hopefully I can keep it all up this week also.

    drinty I'd rather be a Cat.

    *do my paperwork by the end of the month
    *do the dishes on a regular basis
    *take time for myself and not feel guilty about it.
    *plan for a camping and hiking trip to Scotland next month! Not really gone more than 25miles from my house in a very long time, let alone camping in the snow :) my anxiety wants me to be afraid but actually I'm excited right now.

    Going to set myself a goal see if I can get myself out of the destructive way.

    1, my self destruction is self implusive so my first goal is to contact someone before I reach the destructive ways and talk to them

    2 use mindfulness again like I used to do

    3 try and get outside the home for a little bit each day

    not setting a time limit as I know then if I miss it I will beat myself up
