A few months ago this was zeroooo, until i was forced to deal with it when my ex found out about it. After that it was really hard to open up to people and trust them, but now I think that I'm starting to overcome some of these fears, through telling pretty much everyone I feel close to in my life at the moment. Now i feel more comfortable than before with these people, and don't feel like I'm constantly lying to them all the time about everything and how I'm feeling. It is honestly such a relief! i remember my shrink encouraging me to tell my mum, and i just word vomited a load of stupid excuses, and didn't used to feel like she needed to know. They don't need to know, but you need them to know. Even if you think you're okay, it will make you feel so much better to just talk to someone.
