I wrote the attached document to myself to help me quit. Actually to help me to remember why I am quitting so that my evil mind finds it more difficult to convince me to start again.
Since writing the document, I fell of the wagon but stopped and stopped again. I hope this helps someone.

Great job with the document! Writing goals and the why's can be such a great help! :) I wish you the best in your recovery.

Tomorrow marks 4 weeks free of smoking, I don't have many challenges done but with my asthma this is the most important one I have achieved. My lungs no longer wheeze :)
Well done @Petal, that's an amazing achievement *stars

I've fallen off the wagon over the last week but will get back on it again soon :(

Thank you you *hug There was one day that I was seriously tempted but kept telling myself that it wouldn't stop at one so I self controlled myself to not smoke.

Sorry to hear you have fallen off the wagon, that is unfortunate but understandable because of the holidays, a new year is nearly here, put it on your list of resolutions *hug *console

No judgement from me, I understand how intense the cravings can get, no more for you now though, hop back on the wagon *hug

I quit almost two months ago. The first day was kind of hard, especially when I had my morning coffee. But I was fine by the third day. It was one of three quitting goals I set for myself and the only one I nailed, but it was a biggie so I'm happy about that. For anybody who's health isn't sufficient motivation to quit, think of the money you'll be saving. I have well over 150 bucks more disposable income every month. No matter what your financial situation is, you can put that much money to much better use.
From what? I'm just curious about what you meant by your comment.

Well in the past 4 months I've been quit a month then smoked one weekend then quit a few more weeks then smoking for weeks and off a week. I'm honestly torturing myself going through withdrawal over and over. Today I didn't smoke but I almost did and I drove like an idiot on the highway because road rage but didn't smoke at least! Day 1 complete once again
Good luck to you.
