Same with the family thing. Glad you’re close to your mom and nephew, and I hope you’ll be able to be closer to your sis and other nephew at some point too. That’s good you have some close friends who are like family, I can’t say that in the “plural” form (not in person anyway) but I have one friend who is like family anyway so that is nice.

Aw sorry to hear about no close friends in person, but glad you have some online, ya online I have you who I consider to be a close friend, and others who I consider friends (not necessarily that “close” but still good friends) thanks though I’m so glad you consider me to be a close friend too 
I’m thankful for the few close friends I have too, and yup you’re right, that’s a great and positive attitude to have about it for sure, it’s what I try to remind myself of and focus on too.

Yeah you are definitely a great friend, even though you're far away but that doesn't matter to me because you can still be close to people online. I got your letter today, thank you so much! And aw well I love just hearing about peoples lives, what they’re thinking about (or feeling), whatever is on their mind really. That was pretty much what I did when I wrote mine, some of it was a bit random but I did my best to not worry too much about that lol. Well even if we weren't on the same planet, you would still be a great friend. But I don't have any space friends, not that I know of anyway. Unless some aliens have come to Earth masquerading as humans or something. I'm not sure how long it takes for letters to travel between us, but I'm glad that it's here because sometimes letters have gotten lost and that can be a pain. Ya I’m glad it got there ok too though, sucks when things get lost, for me I’m always just wondering like “wtf happened to it?” did someone “steal it” or something like that? Cos it has to have gone “somewhere” lol. Anyway I try not to think about it too much of course cos then it would just make me nuts (more than I already am that is) :p Yup exactly like you said about not knowing where they even end up or anything though, it’s just a mystery I guess lol.
