I've been wanting to try reading one of the classics, so I chose Gone With the Wind. I've read a little over half the book, and I suppose I have mixed feelings. Some of the behavior of people back then definitely shocked me, I'll say that much. But all in all, the plot is kind of disappointing so far. And Scarlet is probably the most selfish person I think I've ever heard of. But I suppose that's what the story intends to portray. I hope she at least changes her selfishness at some point.
