Hip was hurting as usual but actually did my pt exercises and while I did them it was painful the aftermath was no pain. So back to doing them again. Good to know.
I also have hip pain. It's a lucky combination of scarring from an injury, bursitis, and a psoas that is chronically knotted from literally decades of anxiety. I've just gotten an OTC TENS unit off Amazon. I've used it in the PT office before (but a pro version as opposed to OTC), and it's good for me. The electrical pulses sort of distract the nerves so that they are not sending constant pain signals, per the PT I worked with on that. Foam roller on the outside of the quads, when I do it consistently, is magical. When I don't do it consistently it's a very intense sensation. It's not pain, exactly. It's more like the muscles are contorted by the connective tissue being tight, resulting in a screaming sort of "hello!" sensation.

I fulfilled a commitment. I said I would do something, and that I would be somewhere at a certain time, and I did the thing and then showed up where I was supposed to be even a little bit early!

This is huge for me. I normally never ever ever make a firm commitment to anything, because I'm not so sure I will be able to follow through. Making and keeping a promise is a neat feeling, like yay! I did a functional adult behavior! lol.
