When You Feel Like Giving Up

#1
Thats just kind of the way that life works sometimes. It’s Murphy’s Law. When things go wrong, they always seem to happen at once and they just compound on top of each other, and it’s pretty easy sometimes, to feel beaten. When you’re hit with all those issues and all those problems and they all just hit you at the same time. But let me tell you. That doesn’t mean to give up, in fact, it means the opposite. It means it’s time to fight harder, to dig in, means it’s time to go on the warpath. When you feel like giving up, dont. When you thinking about giving up, dont. When it look like you aren’t gonna make it, keep going. When they tell you you cant, who are they? When they tell you’re not gonna make it, dont believe it. You got to be relentless.

Whats the biggest problem? What’s causing the most stress? Family? Sit them down, explain where you are at. Be blunt, be upfront, and then give them the simple plan on how you’re gonna get things back on track. Don’t sugarcoat it, give it to them straight. And then you get started. It wont be easy, it will be hard, because life is hard. That’s what life is. And these challenges that you face, they’re gonna do their best to take you down. Do not let them. Stand up, dig in, line up those problems and confront them, face them, fight them. Do not let them bring you down. In fact let those challenges raise you up. Let them elevate you. Let their demands and their trials make you stronger. Let the adversity you face today, turn you into a better person tomorrow. So in the future you look back at these struggles and you say to them, “thank you, you made me better.”

Some things will never heal, I do not believe the commonly utilized remark that time heals all wounds. But acceptance can certainly help shift some of the pain and discomfort and remorse and confusion if those things are involved. And forgiveness of self. And others. And becoming at peace with things that are out of our control. And making different decisions if the ones we have entered into are not working for us.

Thankyou for sharing but only If it were that simple, sometimes we fight a battle that was never going to be won.
Everyone has the power over ourselves but when you fight things and situations beyond our control, the pain and heartache they cause will never heal no matter how much you try.
I cant say i know how you feel because we all process things differently, i do however agree with you partly about feeling like nothing good will ever come from fighting to be better. But that doesnt fully diminish that hope i have to get out of this because im tired of feeling this way.

Thank you @GreenLightFreefall . Looking with sadness inside myself to find strength, I will remember your exhortations. Like @so so tired said, I'm facing things that will never heal.
Well maybe we can all heal from having those to listen in on those times of need. Sometimes all we need is for someone to just listen. Im here if you ever need to talk.

Time alone may not heal all wounds but once you’re in that mindset of where you are tired of the situation you are in, it can move mountains.
