someone irl to be with who is caring. Even if I do not talk about how I am feeling. But considering that is very rarely possible, there always is food. The one thing that can be there when I need them. It does not reject me. No matter how bad I feel. But I do wish it would stop wrapping itself around me. ( aka eat it today wear it tomorrow, lol)

I get angry at someone else and pretend they are out to screw me over, that they caused whatever failure/reason to die that i actually caused. I never actually do anything about it, i just vent at them in my head. It's nice to direct years of self loathing at other people instead of carrying it 24/7.

Can't say anything makes me feel better but anything that helps me not think about things, reading books (40k) watching films etc, anything that occupies the mind is a good thing.

feel better: write a journal entry...then burn it.
exercise.
healthy* food.
reading books about economics/political philosophy (my life long love affair lol)
forcing myself to go out with friends...not couples (specific to my depression)
I also have a mentor at my job who I am pretty close with. he guides me and makes me list my accomplishments which helps. so if you are proud of something in your life that you did, brag about it to someone for a bit.
volunteering (ronald mcdonald house, feed the homeless)
and music, really loud and for a long time. helps to ground my mind to reality.

Thinking on things that I know are objectively true, and not just my opinion.

Looking back on how I was saved from ending my life and knowing that this has everything to do with God's love.... and incredible patience.......

I should next poster, for "totally eclipsing" this item. I'm bound to be stretching etiquette here, where someone will say, "You've been posting around here quite a lot..."

How do they know? They see all these threads where I would be the most recent entry. Then, figuring it out, they find someone who comes on a forum, writes a bunch of bison piles, and departs. Because there's a whole bunch of threads that still have that person as latest post. Especially dormant ones. So, I should avoid that breach.

Then I will feel better.
