Ya, maybe it never really did get “much” traffic anyway, but I’m glad to be able to interact here with you and others too I agree about the phones needing to be cheaper and that everyone should be able to have a decent, affordable and good quality phone. Lol I agree the idea of phones being implanted in our brains in the future sounds scary, I don’t think I’d ever want that personally. Maybe there’ll be VR phones though, that would be neat.

Cool about having PT every week, and ok about it being more spread out now. Glad it’s not as bad as it was a few months ago though, sounds like it’s going well then, that’s great

I’d rather go hiking, either would be fine though. Never went fishing before, not sure if I’d be any good at it or not lol :p Would be fun to try though.

Hmm, kind of a hard question for me cos I have a few fave perfumes and scents.
- Dolce Vita (it’s no longer made unfortunately, so the bottle I have of it is very precious to me indeed lol, it was an expensive one, pretty much equivalent to Chanel No 5)
- Chanel No5 (I have never owned a bottle of it, but would definitely love to someday)
- Yardly - English Lavender (this is only about a $20-30 perfume, but it’s actually quite nice)
- Lush - Rose Jam (almost too strong imo, but it’s such a nice scent that I pretty much don’t care about that)
- Ok, I guess those 4 perfumes are my fave “perfume brands” but there’s lots more scents I like too - most kinds of “floral” and also various woody scented kinds too.

Ok guess that was a bit of a long answer about that lol, but ya I love perfume a lot and have since I was a kid. My mom, sis and I would always go in the perfume department of one of the department stores in the mall and spray on perfume, it was fun

Yes, I think I have helpful coping mechanisms. I’ve read dozens of self-help books since I was 11 years old, had various counsellors over the years and just generally do my best to keep my thoughts hopeful and positive. Sometimes much easier than others, but I have definitely improved a LOT over the years, especially with harsh, critical and judgmental thoughts about myself. That used to be a very loud and overwhelming voice in my mind, but now whenever it so much as even “tries” I am proud to say I do not just react impulsively and get sucked into it’s nonsense anymore. Often I will literally just say (think, usually, lol) “oh stop it and just be quiet already, that’s not nice, true or fair”. Has been a long, hard and sometimes very confusing road to get to that point, hence the “pride” about it I mentioned feeling

Is it raining outside where you are right now? (Sorry for a boring weather q lol, my brain is a bit distracted by some stuff rn I guess. I should write a poem or 2 about it or do a diary entry, maybe I will in a bit lol) :p

Speaking of beetles like we were earlier, one went in my water and I didn't realize it, so I drank some of the water and the beetle touched my lip...just no. It happens often enough though, especially when it gets warmer and then all the beetles and flies come out again. Oh, I don't have the phone excuse because I usually use my computer to access the site, so probably just an oversight on my part. :P Although I might need to get my vision checked since I've noticed I need to squint more in order to read things lately.

I might get some reading glasses to start, and if that doesn't help, then I'll go to the eye doctor and have an exam done. I know it was a hard question, but I think the drink thing is better....somehow. I don't want to eat food after I find stuff like that in it. I'm pretty cautious about that too, but sometimes they just sneak in there.

Usually only have to worry about fruit flies, it's annoying that they even find a way in really cos we have screens on all the windows. The kitchen window screen is a bit clawed up thanks to Bella though so I guess they just find holes in that or something, who knows. Glad they are ALL I ever have to worry about though. Ya I was so happy about it cos it had been much longer than 3 years since last having my eyes tested (supposed to have it done every 3 years) it had been more like 7 or 8 years, so ya I was and am really happy it's barely changed. I try to eat carrots but definitely haven't been good about eating them much lately, need to start again though for sure.

Same here with getting startled if bugs or people show up suddenly. A guy I used to work with (he was old and kinda grumpy lol) used to always say to me “god you’re jumpy” but not in a very nice way lol. I think it can sometimes just be a side effect of surviving abuse, or just having a more sensitive personality, or both. In my case, it’s both, so ya kind of a double whammy with it I guess lol. He never gave a damn to take the time to learn that about me though, chose to just ignorantly judge me instead so whatever lol.

I think it can sometimes just be a side effect of surviving abuse, or just having a more sensitive personality, or both. In my case, it’s both, so ya kind of a double whammy with it I guess lol. He never gave a damn to take the time to learn that about me though, chose to just ignorantly judge me instead so whatever lol.

Yup I agree about there being lotsa annoying bugs out there and being glad when they disappear for the winter at least. Oh no about the reading and it being blurry thing too, sorry to hear that.

Hmm, hard one cos both are nice, for me it’s more about the fact that the person thought of me, period, so whether they “make” the card or not isn’t a big deal to me. When they DO make it though, then that definitely makes it extra special. Ok, I will pick handmade card, cos it’s more special

Well he could have been a bit more understanding than that. Sometimes people say they're sorry they scared me or ask if I'm alright, so it's nice when people are considerate at least. I think it's a strong startle response and like you said, that can come from different factors. I'm sure he was a dipshit anyway so better off not knowing him. I like handmade cards too, I still have some cards that people made for me in the past.

Yup, for sure, but ignorant people by definition are usually not the most intelligent bunch lol, so I try to just remind myself of the source. He was definitely a grumpy and kinda miserable guy so I kinda pitied him more than anything. Ya when people are nice about it and even apologize then that always feels much kinder for sure. No need to “shame” someone for how they naturally are imo. Yup exactly about it being nice when people are considerate

Yup, I agree with what you said about the strong startle response, and that it comes from various factors. Ya he definitely wasn’t really very nice, and I agree I’m glad I rarely had to talk to or interact with him overall. Cool about liking handmade cards too, and glad you have some you’ve kept from people. I have some too, mostly from family members but some from friends too, and ya I definitely treasure them and will keep them forever.
