I’m sorry you’ve kept to yourself for the last while, but I’m really glad you decided not to stop being here/on the net. It’s definitely better here on SF “with you” than without you. I’ve really missed talking tbh, and ya I get it with it being easier to talk to people here and it being the main source of communication, aside from 1 rl friend and one online (that I talk to fairly “often”) I don’t really have much else in terms of any kind of “non-family social outlet” either.
Anyway I’m really sorry you had bad experiences with trusting the wrong people and getting hurt, you definitely didn’t deserve to have any of that happen. I don’t understand why people would call you names like that if you were just trying to be nice. People can be so crazy and confusing sometimes for sure. I understand that it’s made it hard to trust people though, it’s like that for me too in a way. I am generally quite cautious when it comes to “blindly” trusting anyone, but I think I can sometimes take that “caution” a bit too far, so that’s definitely been one of my challenges in the “trust” department. It maybe sounds/seems confusing since I think I usually come across as a very “open” and I like to think at least fairly “friendly” or at least accepting kind of person, and I think I am those things, but it’s all still done in a careful/cautious kind of way if that makes sense.
Anyway I’m sorry you’ve been closed off, but I am really glad you think I’m a good and trustworthy person so thank you for saying that, I think the same to you too

I understand about being wary of what others potentially “have in store”, for me what I usually do is just try to always “be prepared for anything” (as much as I can be, of course). That way, pretty much nothing will ever “surprise me” or catch me off guard. It can be a “harder” way to live/be (definitely takes more energy!) but it is also safer. There’s been many times where it has definitely saved me a LOT of time and energy wasting time with those who would only seek to use/abuse me in some way. It can be a very brutal world though, definitely no denying that. I understand that it can be a hard thing to spring back from, for me one of the “only” good parts of such unfortunate/upsetting/disappointing experiences is that each time I feel like I come outta that pile of ashes stronger and more powerful than I ever was before

I think the same is absolutely true for you too, even if perhaps you don’t necessarily see, feel or believe that to be true.
That’s great that you’ve been watching movies to take your mind off things, I’ve mostly been watching some “light-hearted” familiar/comfort shows lately, or reading. I need to do a lot more reading and a lot less show watching though I think lol. Excellent about doing writing too, I kinda have been writing as well but not any “creative” story kind, mostly in diary.
Wow that definitely sounds like it was scary with needing that operation and them first telling you different things. I’m glad the operation was ok for you though, sorry to hear the recovery time sucks. Ya the info I found about whichever of those operations I need seem like they’ll be ok and that the recovery time won’t be too bad. And ya I am glad whichever one I get that it will involve being put to sleep so I can just wake up and it will be “done” lol. Thanks for wishing me luck with it going smoothly.
Omg sorry this reply is quite “long” lol, gonna try to make this the final “part” of it lol. Sorry to hear you might have to get one of your wisdom teeth removed and the one beside it, but hope when you do that it all goes smoothly. Ya there’s definitely lots of benefits to “healthier eating” for sure. Ohh ya those salads with fried chicken in them are yummy for sure.
I would definitely rather be “concise” but I think I’m probably guilty of being “wordy” sometimes (maybe “most of the time?” lol)
Would you rather have a cat as a pet, or a dog?
