Aw thank you for saying that Witty I appreciate it. I maybe get too sensitive about the whole motivation thing at times, many family members seem to love nagging me about “doing more” and I know they “mean well” but omg it does NOT help my motivation at all, quite the opposite! Just sucks it away and makes it even worse. I guess I maybe have some naturally “rebellious” reactions in me whenever they try to push/control me, who knows. But thank you for being understanding that it can just be hard to find motivation at times. Definitely been the case for me for most of my life. Having highly narcissistic parents has also made it a LOT more of a challenge for sure. Anyway don’t wanna get negative about things here so I’m gonna move on lol

Thank you, glad you think putting together collages is a hobby, and thanks for saying you think I’m good at it too Aw I really appreciate your positive support of my idea of wanting to put together synth music and that you think it would be good/unique. Lol about sudoku, well for the first several months when I first started trying to do it I was not good at it at all (very slow, missed pretty “obvious” things, etc lol) but I’ve been playing it now since 2012 and feel like it has definitely gotten easier. Practice with it helps a lot for sure. I’m terrible with numbers too though and still sometimes end up messing it up a bit (especially medium and hard level ones lol) :p


Great question MrB, and I’m glad I get to be the one to answer it I think most people would probably answer this one as “long vacation” but for me I actually prefer a shorter vacation. Especially if it is a further distance from home, because I get quite homesick. When I went to Spain (almost 20 yrs ago now, wow) omg after only a couple days I definitely was feeling quite homesick. It freaked me out a bit to imagine “what was going on at home” when I was an ocean away from it, and imagining all the things “between me and home” and how many time zones away from home I was. I adjusted after another couple days, but ya it was quite a surreal feeling for sure.

My mom tends to do that too at times, but then she realizes that I do a lot around here, especially since it's hard for her to much without getting worn out. I would just ignore what they say and do things at your own pace. I hate that too, I dislike being told what to do because I get things done anyway. I'm sorry, that must be really hard to deal with. I wish mine would make such an acknowledgment like that, she’s always saying how she “does everything around here” but that definitely is not the case. She does a lot for sure, but it’s almost always me going out and getting the groceries, for one thing. Anyway sorry didn’t mean to turn that into a bitchfest lol, but ya thank you for the encouragement, empathy and reassurance about just doing things at my own pace and ignoring what any of those negative, critical family members try to say to me. Ya being pushed about things definitely never feels good for sure. Ya it definitely can be challenging to deal with when I’m already a bit sensitive, I like to think that it’s also helped me be at least a bit “tougher” about dealing with jerks, and certainly with being able to weed them out easily (if they remind me of their “ways” then I always pay close attention to “why that is” and it always leads me right I am glad to say They literally provided me with the perfect map of “avoid all these bs things, at all costs!!!” lol :p

Ya I’m not holding my breath that the things I do will ever truly be appreciated, by her or anyone for that matter. Love myself and be ok with unfamiliar, definitely! Ain’t no one else ever gonna truly “give that to me” so in many ways it is kinda down to me to give that to myself. Much tougher to find any kind of “real” love, from anyone, in any way, in this world if ya don’t have looks, brains/talent or personality (ideally “all” those things of course).

I don't think you are negative or upsetting, it's fine to say what is on your mind. I always am willing to listen to people, and as long as they don't insult me personally or take things out on me, then I'm fine with it. That should go without saying, but people have done that before and it can bother me. Well it can be pretty confusing, glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. Sometimes people can be condescending if you don't know math that well, but I'm sure they don't know everything either.

A master at something I don’t necessarily “like” because the fact that I was a “master” at it would be deeply rewarding for me, and I WOULD like that part of it, very much. I am usually always just “average” at most things, don’t think I’ve ever truly excelled at much of anything in my life. Hopefully someday

Well I just wanted you to know that you are appreciated by people so you don't feel like you aren't. Your mom should show you more appreciation because she is your mom after all. Some of these questions are insanely hard to answer, but I just go with one anyway because I know I need to choose one. I like the new book smell, don't like when a book smells too old and moldy though because I don't like those kinds of smells. But yes, it is nice to be able to actually hold it in your hands. I'm sure that you are better than average at some things in life, and I hope one day you can learn to believe in yourself more.

That's cool about laundry. Ya with dishes my mom pretty much demands that they be done every day. We've argued about it a LOT and I finally just gave in. She can sometimes be very relentless about things so it just gets too tiring to keep arguing about it lol. Ya it's the same for us with the dishes for sure. Lol about "just using paper and plastic for everything" ya I have definitely thought it would be much easier to do that too. Wish there was an environmentally friendly way to do that for sure. Aw you're so welcome about what I said, and I'm glad you felt appreciated. Oh wow about reading that old book from the 1700's. I never read those books, did you like them? That's cool how it had the original Middle English text and modern beside it, it definitely does sound quite interesting

Aw that's awesome about going "camping" in your front yard when your aunt, uncle and cousins visited you when you were a kid. Cool that you camped in an RV before too.

Would you rather have a brand new phone or a brand new TV?

That must be annoying, I mean sometimes it's hard to get things done every day. I try to get things done as much as I can, but at times I just don't have enough energy for all of it. Yeah, the books were pretty good, I like most books in general as long as they have a good plot. I think I like hot fudge sundaes more too, probably because they have chocolate in them

A brand new phone, the TV we have is only a year old and works well yet. But we've had the phone about three and a half years so might need to replace it soon.

Damn I really am behind on some of these lol, sorry about that :p Anyway, ya it is kinda stressful sometimes more than anything with those bloody dishes, but she DOES make dinner most nights so I guess it’s fair if nothing else. I suck at cooking, hopefully I will never have to live alone again at least. Prefer to always have someone to live with for sure. I definitely understand with the energy thing, have needed to take a pill due to low energy since I was 17 (many people don’t need to start taking it til they are in their 30’s or 40’s) so ya I have some experience with low energy. That’s good you still try to get whatever things done that you can though. There is a really great Thera-pets card I have in my Thera-pets deck (they are great, if you don’t already have a deck then I highly recommend getting it if it is possible for you to get, they’re sold on Amazon) that simply says “Whatever you manage to do today will be enough”. I love that one so much, cos it can be easy to get down on yourself and feeling like you didn’t do “enough” and things like that. I’ll take a pic of that card and post it in your funhouse thread later today/tonight or tomorrow if I end up being too tired

Hmm, kind of a hard question cos I think food is a more “practical” thing to grow, but I like how flowers look and smell. I guess I will pick flowers then lol Would be so fun to pick some and always be able to have a fresh bouquet of them on the table.
