So, 2020 is approaching at a high speed, do you have anything you want to achieve in 2020? Post your resolutions here for accountability and support.

I have a few.

1) Stay smoke-free.

2) Lose weight and get fit (this one is my most important one).

3) Withdraw from medication.

4) Continue to support SF in any way I can.

Share with us, your hopes and dreams for the year 2020!

Jan 2020 will mean it'll be 1yr smoke free for me. Maybe I can keep that run going. Although I've still got December to negotiate *scared

Apart from that, I won't be making any New Year resolutions, as they tend to be too easy for me to break. Sometimes personally, the best plans are not to make any. Just let them happen.

Thanks for the tag Petal :)

Well, I think it's mostly the same things I always want to do, that peter out as the year goes on. More exercise, eating better (losing weight isn't the goal here would be much appreciated), doing well at work, continuing to make progress on my mental health. Adding working on my marriage I guess, because it does seem that it's a thing I need to explicitly put work into, I've taken that for granted in the past.

What makes you think that it isn't broken down into month by month steps in an excel spreadsheet? Doesn't everyone do that? @Auri help me out here...
I love you!!

Have you considered using an Excel spreadsheet for this or employing the services of a software architect?*bleh
Sweet innocent Ash... making an Excel spreadsheet is like the best part of the whole process. It's one of the Seven FPL's (Fundamental Pleasures of Life), you can't ask for someone else to do it for you. One simply wakes up in the morning and the urge to fill the blank cases is too strong, and this feeling you get when you cross something on the list... Uh! Pure ecstasy!

i got myself into a lot of trouble last year with overly ambitious resolutions! so i resolve to be very cautious in the future and especially for this coming year. fortunately (if i can say that) this year seems to be so full of uncertainty that i don’t really think i can think ahead enough to make resolutions that will be applicable to my situation - so i will try to stay in a safe place and still stay positive. and that is what i will try to do. being cautious seems very appropriate.

now that i think of it, i’m also going to drag my feet when it comes to the time speeding by and hopefully my time wont be whizzing by like this year did. i hope it goes leasurely by so i can enjoy at least some of it.

and hmm, well i guess i better not let my good intentions get the better of me. i’ll just keep trying to be a helpful SF citizen and offer the best of my thoughts and ideas and wishes to others here as well as those irl peeps. 😊
