"Do people really enjoy existing?"
I think many people do, because there sure are a lot of people on the planet. If everyone truly wanted to not exist, I feel the world population would be much smaller.
Or it could be that only a small percent of people enjoy existing, but the majority of people believe/hope they will enjoy existing later on. That could be a false hope. or a real hope that doesn't pan out. But it still keeps people alive.
