Got to running group again at last after what, 6 months? Jogged there tentatively as hip had been playing up a bit. But managed to get around with the group and even got a bit carried away and ran at 8 minute mile pace in a few places - didn't realise the pace, was just keeping up with the group! Managed about 4.5 miles with the run there and back and the group run itself. For a long time thought I'd never make it back. Hope it's not just a one off!

100 minutes on hometrainer bicycle! (new record, previous record was 80 minutes) Super pleased *thumbsup - Not sweating as much as I was expecting actually! Could have gone on for longer too (feel wise) - I did have a break inbetween for water & restroom.

I suppose my cardio endurance is improving *yes4 Tomorrow I gotta get back to dumbbells for the usual =)

That is a great way to go. Alternate the cardio with the weight and resistance for some muscle toning. I likely need more of the cardio so I use the stationary bike the most and mix in the climber and rower for muscle work.

Bit the bullet and joined the gym. I find it intimidating, all the machines I don't know how to use, so stuck to the treadmill. I like my ice-cream too much at night so have to do this.*faints
Yay! A good gym will find someone to give you a tour of the machines, just ask. : ) Alternately there's nothing wrong with sticking to the treadmill. If you get bored to tears on it lol there's always the free-weights, kettlebells &/or resistance bands too. 😁πŸ’ͺ🏻

Did running group for 2nd week in a row. Found the front runner pace a bit much at times so was middle of the group mostly. Hit 8.30/mile pace at the end, not bad considering I was wearing a horrible mask for most of it πŸ˜‚ Was quite fun seeing motorists gawking at all these crazy people and zombies and vampires and also kids wishing us happy Halloween πŸŽƒ
