Ran 3.5 miles. Tackled a hill segment and did my 5th best ever time on it (out of 26 efforts going back 8 years when stats began!). Ran off top of hill and maintained pace. I could have stayed in work, but trying to treat the running as non-negotiable!

Managed a tiny run yesterday. This morning I did all the new & improved PT then went to walk around the neighborhood. My physical therapist mentioned taking a break from measuring distances, instead to set a certain amount of time (running or walking). It's oddly hard to leave the watch behind but also kind of a reresh.

Tonight I managed to run 3 miles, it was a perfect temperature for it: 10ºC/50ºF, and a light drizzle. Didn't see anyone, but not surprising as it was a rainy Saturday evening and most normal people are indoors.

My shoulder didn't hurt at all the entire run. : )

Editied to add: while I like the idea of not measuring the distance, I admit it helps motivate me towards my goals, so I am already back to wearing my watch.

Pretty consistent with dumbbell exercises (targetting abs, chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders and back + glutes mostly-) still and I'm creating more insight into my food intake overall ~ I enjoy exercising at least 4 x / week - sometimes I want to time it a bit better... Mornings are kinda difficult for me to get the engine started, but I've been adjusting the sleep schedule too:

At 10:00 PM I'm just naturally fatigued, but sleeping a bit too long (around 10 hours, sometimes a bit more), I love it though in the winter season! *shy :D

Wondering if I should aim for a 80 kg still, hmm, am 82.8 kg currently but body looks healthier than ever (the past 15 years anyway). *thumbsup

A 2 mile this morning, hoping to get out after rush hour for my run.

Update. : ) My shoulder is finally feeling a little better. I was scared this was never going to stop hurting or get better, but maybe all the rest and PT work is helping it heal.

Missed my gym workout this morning cause i went to bed late last night and probably a lot of negative motivation...

Will try again tomorrow morning, need to go to bed now!..
My therapist says that i should move my 5am workout to 6am, i said i need a more violent way to wake. My two alarm clocks are not enough. Made her laugh the other day when i said i need some sort of electric dog collar to shock me in the morning. And i swear i could read in her eyes how confused she was and i quickly clarified that it would be used around my wrist for example and not around my neck 😅💀
Allright bed time..

Managed to - very slowly - run a couple of miles yesterday, 3 miles this evening. It was raining and cold but I wore enough layers and a hat. Shoulder did not hurt at all. *hi5

Squeezed in a 2.5 mile run including fetching post-pizza chocs from the supermarket for this evening's trash reality TV binge - running down the aisles like a crazy person, running out clutching my chocs 😂 Been having some back and hip problems but was trouble free on the run - I think it's more from sitting still doing too much screen work with ultra focus - I forget to breathe half the time, never mind stretch lol.
