Bought this biker jacket this week. Being petite the arm length is perfect for me. I have it in a tan colour and I just love it so I ummed and ahhed about getting the black, then thought sod it, might not see anything next year and i'll regret it. Took it to the checkout and because someone bought it on sale and returned it, it was selling for just over £8! Couldn't believe it!

Thanks @Livelife. It's so soft and comfortable too. I have a leather bike jacket from Karen Millen that I have never worn because it's so thick and stiff. Cost hundreds! *wacko I tried selling it locally but no takers. I don't feel so comfortable if I don't cover my bum but I'm getting used to it now so I might just start wearing it.

Is there professional process to add to softening it up if desired besides letting long time aging do it? I haven't had a leather jacket in eons so I can't recall if there's someway to assist:)

I don't really know. I guess wearing it would soften it? My son said I should wear it and then it will have been worth buying - thinking in terms of cost per wear, the more you wear something, the better value it becomes. I don't know if anyone else thinks like this but when I save something for 'best', I do wonder if I'll live long enough to get any wear out of it. It's pointless having spent money on good things just to hang them in a wardrobe. That jacket makes me feel so guilty. I wish I could have sold it! I don't know how to set up an ebay account *confused

I LOVE SHOPPING HAULS! Those clothes look gorgeous. I recently bought a new formal black dress from Amazon. I totally adore it. The shipment was short, and I was constantly updated about the parcel due to lasership tracking information. It is long, with cute details on the elbows, and I love how it fits my body. I did have to buy a size up, exactly like on Shein, but still, it is worth it. When it comes to makeup, I'm not ready to give up on it. It saves from looking like a total disaster all the time. Or maybe I simply don't have the confidence yet.

I completely missed seeing this post*facepalm
Maybe now that it's gone into a cooler season the Karen Millen would sell now and for a good price? Or possibly you've worn it a time or two by now:)....

Our weather has really shifted into winter this week. I finally hauled out the winter padded coat on my way out the door yesterday, going to the city. I got it last year in a cheap department store but when I put it on it was even nicer than I remembered - love that feeling! Still looking for my knee length winter boots. Walking around the city in my old ones is getting painful, the soles are so thin. Not sure whether it's worth the expense of getting them re-soled since they have already had a hole patched up at the side. Why is it so hard to find comfortable and smart women's footwear? It's a major bugbear with me.

Finding good shoes was always a challenge with my skinny foot. And I see leather boots on women that look good out there but I have a hard time making up my mind in the stores....so I don't buy and keep wearing my fur and wool lined casual winter boots. Hope you find a pair you really like.

My feet are very small and thin... have found some decent boots in the child section lol
What a wonderful option for you:) I wear a AAA or AAAA but I have a size 8 1/2 along with the skinny. I now basically live in sandals and casual boots in the winter so it's not an issue anymore for me:D
