i cant get away i have no where else to go i have a little girl i am trying to find a shelter that can help us to have a roof over our heads so im doing 2 things at once and its hard
It does sound very hard. If you speak to the police they can connect you with a social worker who can help find you shelter. If your rapist lives in the place you would normally reside then it would be reasonable to claim that you are homeless. You have a child so it is not required for you to find your own shelter. If you present as homeless to your local council they will find you accommodation if there is a child involved.
You should also speak to the police about your father continuing to hurt you. As I said, I am shocked that he is not prohibited from all contact with you given the charges against him. If there is a court case against him you will have been assigned a police officer as a liaison - speak to them ASAP.
I don’t think it is EVER someone’s fault that they are raped - it is a horrible thing to happen and I am sorry that happened to you. Especially by someone who is meant to care for you, not hurt you.
You do not have to be anywhere unsafe and there are lots of people who can help you so please speak to those people. Your doctor can put you in touch with social services and other support. So can the police. In the UK there is no need for you to struggle with any of this alone and you deserve help and support.
