Help relearning napping

#1
In the attempt that I've wasted, I have for years been barged awake when napping after I get home from school, until I have grown afraid of daring to sleep at all.

Now, as I wait put this remainder, I want to relearn the skill I was scared away from. How do I relearn the ability to catch sleep in the daytime?

1) setting a same time and closing your eyes then even if you're not sleepy
2) creating a destress routine leading upto nap , i.e meditating , tea , reading , Journaling, maybe even talking to yourself
3) start slow with 15 mins

Just whatever came to me.

Many find ASMR(automatic sensory meridian response) to help relax. Plenty of YouTube channels where you can listen and possibly find one that works for you. Find the right one it is like a soothing and calming drug. Most who have them describe them as brain, ear or spine tingles. Various ones work with a lot of people and it is like nodding off listening with the right one. Typically they will be soft and very pleasing. A gentle rain on a roof works most well for me.
