How Are You Feeling Right Now?

Exhausted by the continuous failed effort to understand how I am supposed to live knowing how undeserving of this life I am. I wish, if there was anything worthwhile in me, that it could be split up into 8 billion pieces and given to everyone else, with which they could to do something beneficial for themselves. Otherwise I am of no use to anyone. My own constant involuntary demand for breathable air disgusts me.

I'm feeling kind of neutral. Since I've been doing better over the past several days, I have been doing a lot of cleaning up, of both mental and physical messes, that I let slide when I was too down to notice. Having a more orderly space is nice. The neutrality part comes in when I notice that this is not really having a satisfactory mental state, but rather that I am trying to make the best of a bad situation. I'm not going to let it get me down (if I succeed), but I'm not going to lie to myself by saying everything is fine. : - /

What is the word that describes the feeling of "staring into a void like my mind has vacated the premises"?
Existential paralysis? The phrase of staring into the void reminded me of a little Nietzsche quote, "if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." I am no scholar on the Existentialist school, but the way I would interpret the Nietzsche quote is that if you get stuck in that state for too long, the void starts to feel like that's your true nature. Take that for what you will. FWIW, I am an out of work philosopher so I don't have much of an outlet for these things circling my mind.
