Really struggling right now. Last night something truly frightening happened that I can only imagine was too low blood pressure. I had a moment where I felt a head-rush similar to the way it feels when I stand up too abruptly. Only I had been standing for a minute or so, and the intensity blew my mind. All verbal thought was gone. The sensation that I should have fainted by now was taking up 100% of my attention, but I didn't even recognize it as such at the time. I'm not known for low BP except for the orthostatic hypotension. But this was way worse than standing up too quickly. My BP was too high until I got on a med for that and a tiny dose makes my BP really good at 120/80 or so. Sometimes the lower number gets into 50s, even. Also I suspect my BP is high right now because I can fell my pulse in my ears, hands, and chest.
I wonder if my poor self-care is catching up to me. My diet has been awful lately: lots of sugar, hardly any protein or complex carbs, occasionally fruit or a salad, but less than once each day. Oh and I don't chew my food all that much until I notice it. That's always been a challenge for me; chewing just seems like way too much work, even as a kid. At least I'm having hardly any caffeine at all.
Buuuut I suspect my body just can't manufacture the neurotransmitters when it doesn't have any amino acids to work with. Similar story for other nutrients, too. This would explain the forgetfulness, poor sleep quality, moodiness (I think), and digestion problems. I should probably have a steak today or something. I seriously feel better after getting about 100g of protein that is a mix of white and red meats. According to my research my gender would indicate that I can have 30g in a single sitting before the body just flushes it because it's out of the juices to digest it. So that would take 4-5 meals a day, and I can barely manage to hydrate.
I'm wandering/rambling all over the place today. I would proofread the above but I'd probably make it even worse, so this is going to have to do for now.
