Apprehensive. Another bad night sleep-wise last night and expect the same tonight. It's so "normal" now it's barely worth commenting on. I just don't sleep any more. …I really don't like hospitals. ❤️
I know I’m repeating myself but I wish I could send you some of the excess sleep dust that the sandman drops on me night after night.

I’m with you on hospital phobia, lol. Ya know, most people die in hospitals, at least in the USA. Seriously though there are the crazy anti biotic resistant pathogens around. Hospitals are also places of suffering by definition. It’s always uncomfortable and a huge admin headache.

Be careful, talk to your nurse or whoever and if they are condescending, try and get a different staff member. I’m saying this to help me remember it, too- I do end up in non-behavioral wards more often than I should.

Thanks. Yeah. Some sleep dust would be helpful. I might have got a few hours last night, I know I was awake at 6am, but that's better then 3 or 4am. Felt very groggy when I got up.

It all went better than I expected though I did get lost - north and south building names with a sign saying "south entrance" and an arrow, then I was on the wrong floor - they have a ground floor but also a lower ground floor, lol. Then I was going around in a circle as the department I needed had an arrow pointing left. But the reception for it was right.... A janitor had to help me in the end lol. I didn't have to wait long and was in and out really. Only weird part was having to disrobe and wear a gown. I even had time to get home for some lunch before going to the office later. So that's one thing crossed off.

Well, me and my big fricking mouth, lol. Every time I brag about my ability to sleep way more than is normal, I end up Getting to bed after 7:00 AM the following morning. I didn’t sleep a wink until after noon today.

I totally hear about the hospital having a layout that is beyond confusing. IDK if England has this, but in the US a hospital usually has a front desk before you get through the foyer and they are there mostly to give people navigation directions. The check in areas are usually when you get to the department within the hospital, so the front desk staff has been happy to help, in my experience.

Hospital gowns are f**king humiliating. I am with you on that. Why in the heck do they have to be designed so that you put them on backward, and then they don’t cover your backside, though you don’t know that it is blowing in the breeze until you start to feel a draft where you most definitely should not! I have learned to ask for a blanket if I have to walk anywhere in a gown but I wish that wasn’t necessary! *rant

It’s baffling that they have not been redesigned in however many decades! In that amount of time there have been enormous medical advances, but those gowns have not changed at all. We as patients should stage a sit-in or something. :D

I’m feeling okay. Mostly because I’m out of it from being awake for 30 hours straight and I recently got up. I’m not feeling like I will have any difficulty tonight though. I don’t feel great, more like “fair.” I am noticing the financial pressure that is and will be gut-wrenching until I secure an income. Aside from that my compulsions have been calm today and that frees up my mental capacity by 90%.

I just feel stuck in neutral. I should feel content with my life, although I get scared for the future and feel restless. Trying hard to keep a relationship functioning and from work getting on my nerves. Life can be a constant struggle. On the other hand, I was thinking about how this may be the time where I've come out on the other side of a chaotic and detrimental life, if that makes sense.

Apprehensive. After all the build up and procrastination, I finally summon the courage to contact a tradesman again, someone I've dealt with before. And I get a single grey WhatsApp tick. I know that means they haven't received it at all, but am now worried about why? Blocked me? Phone off? On holiday? Dead? I have no idea. Guess I'll wait a while.
