I am a failure and a disappointment, I am just living here to waste my family's resources.

I likely will never find a job. Nor I will ever love someone or be loved by someone. My parents hate me and I hate myself.

I don't see why I should continue. I'll never be happy. I'll never make another person happy.

I believed all of those things at various points in my life, and I was wrong every time. You can't predict the future NRW, nobody can. That's just an undeniable fact.

@NRW24 - that is a lot of toxic things that you are telling yourself and as @HumanExMachina says, you can't know the future. I do think that this kind of self talk contributes to the possibility of those things happening though. I know it feels like an overwhelming problem when there are so many pieces. Maybe you need to pick one and work on that. Probably the first piece is a job. What have you done to find work?

You are not a failure. Even if your parents can't understand you, you are not. I hope you'll see that you are much more deserving of what's good in life.

What things do you enjoy doing very much? That you don't do for any other person but yourself ... ?

You can always make someone happy - helping people in any possible way for us (even the smallest) is part of what makes our happiness as well. And somehow, if you help others, someone will help you as well ... that's how the universe works.

You can never predict the future, life is full of ups and downs, and I can only relate to feeling that way at nearly 25 years old ...

But with negative thinking gunna make these things twice as unlikely. As can just be a barrier to getting it. We can’t predict the future
