But apparently its viewed as a risk. I'm a risk nobody wants to take on. I feel stigmatized, even though I did nothing wrong.

Some people scare easily for no good reason. I think they tend to view others as, "What can you do for me?" and if that answer is nothing or they feel threatened, then they ignore you. Like you have a contagious disease or something. I know and detest that feeling also.

Alice I hope you and your dog do not get evicted. Where I used to live a homeless woman did freeze to death in the town's park, in February. I hope you're not evicted but just in case, I am encouraging you to act on a few things: find out ahead of time what sort of services and help is available in the area. Put their numbers in your phone. I hope you are going to be alright.
