If your confidence has gotten that low towards sex, say fuck it and get a hooker man.

I know most people would probably consider that horrible advice, but when you do get with a girl you actually like and are going to have sex with her, you won't feel like you're taking a shot in the dark.

And if you arn't comfortable doing that, get a few drinks in you, goto a bar, and you're bound to open up to someone, and at that point getting someone to go home with won't even be too hard.

Again, if you arn't comfortable going for some easy snatch, or if you don't dirnk, try and improove on your personality in social situations. I mean, if you're considering giving up now, what is there to lose?

However, don't give up man, keep on truckin', if it makes you feel any better my old man used to be jacked back in the day (he was about as muscular and fit as you can get without using suppliments, he also had secondary education and a steady job) and he never even got a date until he was 30 years old. Just goes to show it never is too late.

If you want to talk er whatever, just throw me a PM, hoped I helped.

I'm 21 and a virgin like many of the people in this thread. Quite frankly, I'm not at all interested in casual sex. I'm far more interested in intimate (emphasis on intimate) relations with someone I actually care for and love (which is noone at this point sadly).

So ya, cheesy as it may sound I'm 'waiting for the right woman'.

I'm 21 and a virgin and I've never kissed a guy, held hands with a guy... I have the same experience of a 12 year old... I believe it's too late because I am ugly and have no friends

I'm 21 and a virgin also.

I am waiting to be approached by a woman who has taken an interest in me. Here are the reasons for that, in order of strength:

- I am socially inept and cannot make friends well any longer

- The prevailing male-female dynamic which dictates the male as the seeker and instigator of relationships is bullshit

- I am lazy as hell

The other week I was thinking about where I stand on this issue. If I were to lose my wife (and I were to manage to stay sane and all, you know), I wouldn't want to have sex w/ a GF unless I knew she was completely committed to our relationship, as it'd be too painful otherwise.

Fourth paragraph, left side.

Welygan and Mussolum persuaded people of all ages to speak out on the subject of virginity, from 18-year-old Angie, who has taken a pledge of abstinence so she can stay pure for her future “prince charming,” to Helena, a senior who waited 61 years to experience sex. (“The first time probably was not as much fun as the media would like you to think it is,” she says.) Movie critic and pop culture commentator Peter Chattaway also shares his insights into the portrayal of virginity in contemporary films and television.

1'm 29 years old and still a virgin. i have battled social anxiety and depression most of my life. should i just give up trying? what woman is going to go out with a 29 year old virgin. this depresses the hell out of me.
well i'm slightly older, not by much, and still am, and not bothered by it. No reason to define your whole life by that, if others think you're a loser then fuck them.
don't concentrate your whole life on getting a woman, important to work on yourself by reading self help books and stuff. You can chat if you want, send me a PM.

Don't worry about it. Some girls actually like that you're a virgin. I've had girls tell me it "cute", they still wish they had theirs. As mentioned before, there is so many STD's going around, its crazy. If my memory is up to par, they said 1 in 3 or 4 people have VD unknowingly.

Well, lets see here. Not all woman are the same. In vise versa...Not all men are the same. Just because what you read about woman all over the magazines says want woman want, who they are...etc... Does not conclude the fact that all woman fit this stature.
It depends on the factors.
Heres my angle.
There are so many people on this earth...And to be quiet honest with you, most of my friends love the idea of virgins. They are hard to find.
Why would they love that idea?
Well, if its love your looking for, then its perfect.
Again, depends on the person. Some woman like to show the men how to do the 'do'. haha.
Other like the idea that they are the only one.
And if the woman is also a virgin, then you get to 'explore' together.

As for me, I dont care if the guy is a virgin or fucked 500 woman.
(haha...hopefully he's disease free)
If I like the guy, I like the guy. Regardless of looks or level of desirability of other females to him...

Hope that aids....

I'm a 24 year old virgin and I've always thought of this as a curse since since the age of 17.

And why do I think and felt this? It's because some I have met in the past and those I've contacted with online has triggered me off deliberately saying like "I did it and you havn't" and "It will never happen to you".

I don't feel bad about being a virgin, but I do think the whores out there and the malice they could bring like hurting other people hearts should feel bad about themselves.

20 year old, very socially shy and virgin here. I honestly (almost) don't know anyone in my life that is still a virgin. Everyone I know has had intercourse on way or another. I used to be bothered by it immensely, that I was the only one in my year that has never slept with anyone ans stuff like that, but not anymore. I know I'm still young, but ATM I honestly believe that I will never find anyone. Like someone said on this thread before, I don't want to ever have sex without the feeling of being in love, and if people think I'm pathetic because of that, then they can fuck off. If grils don't want to be with me because of that then, like Myname said before me, it's their loss and I too think that I don't have the looks, the confidence or the money IMO to go around chasing girls. My best friend (who is totally different from me BTW) goes to prostitutes alot and has had many one night stands and he often asks/tells me "Dude what is the matter with you, why don't you just come with me and we'll go to a prostitute together, or we'll go on a night out on the town and I will fix you a girl for the night." I always tell him that I will never do this because I just don't want to. I want sex/my first time to mean something, to be something special and to be with someone that I love. I've been "in love" a few times and my love has never been answered. I have been very depressed just because of that reason and still am sometimes, but less than I used to be. Right now I don't want to search for a partner. I just don't care anymore and have the feeling that no girl would ever want to be with someone like me. I might be wrong but I'll see what the future will bring to me. You're alot older than me and I might channge my vieuw on this in the future, but for now, this is my 2 cents. Hang in there.

I am married now, but my husband (we've been together since high school) has never had sex with someone he did not feel he was truly in love with. This was the most important thing to me. Not whether or not he was a virgin (which he wasn't btw) but the very fact that he valued sex to the point where he felt that it was sacred enough to only share with someone he truly loved. THAT is what was important to me. Trust me, when we got together, I was actually disheartened by the fact that he was NOT a virgin! That is because I value sex as a very intimate experience between 2 people who are in love...so I though he was kind of a whore lol :) When I realized that he would never have done it had he not been "in love", it changed my opinion of him entirely.

It's not about the sex. It's about love, and how highly someone values the act of sex. If someone is a virgin but will have sex with anyone, then I think that's yucky. But if someone has had sex with several people but only with people whom they loved very deeply, then I think that's great. If you have never been in love and are waiting to be in love before you actually engage in sex, then I think that is wonderful.

Don't do it just to get it over with and don't feel bad just because you haven't found that person. Do what you can to find your soul-mate and then it will be very special for both of you.
