You're welcome @Gard. This world breeaks one's heart.
Poor sleep last night, due to thinking about a problem and pain. There was f*ing msg in some supposedly healthy crackers I ate - and for me results in migraine.
Been off amitriptyline for a few months now. I still keep waking up at 3 to 4am for no reason. No matter what time i get to bed. Then finding it difficult to get back to sleep. Getting a blood test next week
Does anyone else start feeling hot and flustered in bed ? Like when you fall asleep and start dreaming and wake up feeling warmer than the ambient temperature. Its winter here and I keep waking up feeling hot. Its been happening for a long time now. Intense dreams then wake up after a few hours feeling hotter than usual ?

I was sleeping alright until some jerk on the next street over started blowing off fireworks at midnight. [edit out mention of violence]. Ffs it's a work night, the stupid holiday is over, so stop it.
I finally managed to get some sleep, but still woke up a few times even with the mask on. I think it's either because the mask will blow air out when it shifts, or because it dries out my mouth, or maybe both.
Tonight was a real doozy. Or should I say morning. I thought it might be bad as a) bedroom like a oven and b) having to cut back on my meagre opioid pain medication as my doctors think I'll end up mainlining heroin if I continue on pretty small doses of codeine c) whatever else is wrong with me/lifelong insomnia. But I spent 4.5 hours in bed with literally not one minute of sleep. Rage quit bed at 4.50am. Of course I will not be able to stay awake come the afternoon.
Awake at 3:30 am, mind racing. Not enough solid sleep. It took me a long time to fall back after being woken up by someone walking around clunking things, doing various stuff in the house at midnight. I'm tempted to reciprocate but won't
2am. Starting to go crazy. Can't sleep. Can't turn off. Feeling hot and sweaty in 9C cold temperatures. Why? I feel very overwhelmed. Why? I don't know . I can't even put my finger on it
I can't recall where I read about it, but it's basically finishing eating by 5 pm, and waiting until abou 7 the next morning before breaking the fast. Doesn't pertain to water of course.
That's awful. that was me last week this time. It's gone cooler here and the smoke has faded a bit (from the wildfires). I've slept past 9am a couple of mornings this week - after waking first at 4 or 7am. I used to be able to accidentally sleep in until 1pm but that hasn't happened for many years now. I hope you can get some sleep very soon.
Slightly better. Racing thoughts about searching for a new pace to live. Fell asleep at 11, awake at 2, fell back asleep until 4. At least I got some sleep.

I contacted my clinic that deals with insomnia, and all sorts of issues mainly for men. I have been prescribed 15mg of suvorexant. Taken only as needed . Not every night. Been told it's not addictive. Has anyone tried this ? How did you find it? I should receive it next week. I did some research myself and it seems to work differently than other drugs ive taken. Instead of inducing sleep , it cuts off wakefulness chemicals in the brain. It wasnt cheap though. 60 tablets cost me $180aud ($130usd) .
