It might be better to see an opthamologist first. Majority of high street opticians can arrange for referrals to specialists such as Moorfields for further investigations if needed.

Actually, I'm still searching for the magical weight loss link*sfdunno
I actually just built an ophthalmologist a website - she owes me ;) I will hit her up - thank you!

I want to lose 20 lbs in 7 weeks, approx 3lbs per week that is... I think on my large frame that it is do-able *yes

If anyone has any tips, feel free to chime in, but at the moment all I'm doing is exercising and eating healthily, not restricting too much. Living and enjoying food is a part of life, I think I can do this :)

My mom has a twitchy eye I cannot remember what causes it but to fix it they use Botox
Eek! I am totally prepared to consider that though if it doesn't go away. Thank you :)
Botox can be used for a condition known as Blepharospasm. However, it can take a few days to a week for it to kick in and generally lasts for 2-3 months before you need another top up shot.

One question that's been bugging me, Lu. Was Matt anyway involved in you developing this eyebally tick?*sfdunno

I have no idea what eye related shenanigans you get up to in your life (nor do I want to) but no, Matt had nothing to do with the eye twitch. Unless perhaps his outrageous and blatant bed hogging sleep deprived me. That is possible...

Weight Loss is discouraging in the past two months I have not moved one iota. Worst of it all is that when I saw the dietitian I could not remember what I had the night before. She thinks I wanted to lose weight for the wedding - well, i did but that was an intermediate goal, and now the wedding is past. I still want to lose a total of 60 lbs from my current weight. I just don't know how I'm going to get there....

Tyvm. I have a good chunk of weight to lose, I hope to find good support here.

Everyone starts dieting Jan 1st, how are those of you now mid January?
I started a diet this month related to kidney stones prevention and it is working on weight loss as well. This is a list of foods that has been put together by a seasoned committed professional not just a generic one off of google. It is very focused on very low salt, no added sugar, mostly fresh foods and low oxalates. And those that follow this food list naturally lose weight along with not forming stones. Makes sense if cutting out salt and sugar and drinking water all day long...WinWin. I've lost 3 pounds without adding anything more to my exercise routine. And I do plan on adding to my current exercise which is walking and yoga at this point, want to add in wt resistance etc

Yeah I find it goes on and stays on a lot easier than it comes off. Did your dietitian mention about changing up your diet and or exercise?Sometimes that helps when things get stalled.

No kidding, last February March were horrific, new experience, hope it NEVER happens again.. I'd rather be in labor *hysterical I hope you aren't expressing from experience, I wouldn't wish it on an enemy. *bleh
Yeah I had them a couple of times years ago, the first time I got one I thought for sure I was dying (ok that was a little overly dramatic but you understand)! That’s funny that you mentioned that you’d rather go into labor then have kidney stones, the nurse who was treating me for my first one said the same thing!!

lol. That is funny and no you aren't being overly dramatic.. I felt the same, I wished someone would have put me out of my misery any way possible including you know what when they made their presence first known to me.....sorry you or anyone else has to experience that. And part of my nursing career was spent in labor and delivery settings and I've seen it all there and still it would have been a better option. :o( :) :) :)

I did some weight training earlier this morning and then spent the next 6 hours at the cancer center for my mom’s first round of chemo. I’m spent but I think I need a good hard work out to relieve some stress so that’s where I’m headed now. Plus I HAVE to stay sober in case my mom needs help so this will help keep me occupied.

I need to find the time/motivation to go to the gym (that I am paying for!!!!) I don't mind the gym exactly (though I am clearly so wildly unfit that I can manage 30 mins of a steady walk before I have a 170 heart rate and am sweating buckets!!) but I really don't like the people. Not that there is anything wrong with them - they are simply THERE and that alone makes me uncomfortable!

I did really well on my first week - 4lbs off. But then had a meal out for hubs birthday on Sunday and another meal out for my mothers yesterday - 1lb back on. I should have chosen a salad but I chose slow roasted pork belly instead. Not the best choice but it was so worth it!

Back on track today :)
