Hi everyone and thanks @Dante for having me. I'm going for the Eclectic table:

1) What super power would you chose if you could:
The ability to absorb others' superpowers and gift it to others

2) If you could learn a single new skill to perfection in one night, what would you learn:
Definitely the ability to compose music. I'm somewhat of a melomaniac and have never been able to play any instrument well. So when it comes to composing, mastering the piano would naturally be the best place to start.

3) What language have you always wanted to learn and why
Japanese. I find the tone and inflection fascinating.

4) Tell us a happy memory
I should be trying harder, but I'm unable to think of a genuinely happy moment at this point. I guess when I used to play football (soccer for Americans), all worries fade when I'm running around on the pitch.

5) Tell us something we don't know
When normalcy (in the context of the pandemic) will resume, if ever.
Dude! You would choose to be All for One? :(

Choosing the questions from the Eclectic Table, here.

1) What super power would you chose if you could
Hm... difficult, but I think I would choose invisibility. The possibilities are endless.

2) If you could learn a single new skill to perfection in one night, what would you learn.
Programming. I've always wanted to make my own game, yet I've never had the skills to do it entirely myself and achieve my creative vision to its fullest extent, so mastery of programming would accelerate the completion of my dream far quicker.

3) What language have you always wanted to learn and why
Something like Latin or Sanskrit would be cool. Old yet highly influential to modern languages, often associated with mystery and the occult, these kinds of languages would be most interesting to learn. Imagine how others would react if you started speaking fluent Latin in the middle of a conversation.

4) Tell us a happy memory
My happy memories are forgotten now, or too far at the back of my mind to recall well enough. I vaguely recall... hm, no, there's not actually anything I can remember right now at all.

5) Tell us something we don't know.
The Finnish power metal band Stratovarius no longer features any of founding members from its original line-up in 1985. The current longest running member, vocalist Timo Kotipelto, joined the band in 1994, after they recorded their fourth album with former vocalist Timo Tolkki - who remained as their guitarist until 2008, the longest remaining member of their original line-up from the first four albums.
Stratovarius' case is a practical application of the Ship of Theseus hypothesis often shown in fiction, which poses the question of whether or not something remains fundamentally the same after all its assets have been replaced. Is Stratovarius still the same or are they now a different band entirely?

good afternoon/early evening, Dante and all...
The Vinegar you get in Fish and Chip shops
i’m guessing that this is true for potato chips/salt and vinegar style too. i haven’t read the ingredients lately but i’ve always suspected alternate substances in there. that makes me think... that since there is “lime” flavor used in some of this stuff too and i have read that it is real - in this instance i suspect that “real” can be used in tricky sentences and phrases to support a desired belief system amongst potential customers. but really... does anyone care? that fake stuff is so delicious... maybe even better than a bottle of, or fruit in hand ready to squeeze.

yikes!!! i love this food table...
the Qs

1) What is your favourite food. which favorite do you have in mind? i love lox. i love sushi. i love blue cheese (especially stilton) to name a few.
2) What is your LEAST favourite food. i’m thinking that what you are thinking of as the least favorite, i’m thinking of as not actually being food at all.. i mean, how can anyone eat beets or liver? ok, i know it just me, but those two items send the worst kind of chill down my spine. nope... won’t eat at all.
3) What food reminds you of better times. lox, sushi, stilton blue, and lazy dumplings especially etc.
4) Do you know and love any good that most people probably haven't tried. natto!
5) Do you know any great places to eat? a great sushi place closed down last march! so sad! the lox i buy i bring home. same for blue cheese. same for natto too. hey that must mean my place is a great place to eat! c’mon over....
6) Tell us something we dont know about food or drink. first i’ll need everyone to tell me everything they know about food and drink. then i’ll comply. sorry i really can’t think of anything. ok, dandelions make great wine, salad, a green side dish and make you pee in bed too if you pick the flowers (or so they say) but i do know some people know this. but did you know....??? the dandelion - regardless of possibly being food, is the symbol of perseverance? it is! no coincidence that i use it as my avatar.

i’m tempted to jump to the other tables @Dante but i’m too hungry! i’d love to volunteer again but lately i’ve been having tricky schedules braided with overwhelm and discombobulance so i might not be in the best shape to start a café and i’d be scolding myself if the coffee was not perfect! but i promise i’ll gobble up the food next café.

and may tomorrows café help everyone to find much 🌞🌞🌞 (as needed)

ahhh!!! my grandmother made the best blintzes! however my narcissist father had to always one up her by making his “flame“ special only for himself, as if he was having something supposedly gourmet. but i’ve been longing for grandma’s cheese blintzes lately and now i have to make some!

btw, my grandmother used pot cheese and farmer cheese and i don’t have the recipe and nowadays it seems like all the online recipes use ricotta. what to do!!! 😱

brand? i’ve kind of always depended on King Oscar! then they became scarce but oddly turned up in a bodega on the corner a couple weeks ago! nowadays we use them in sushi! kippermaki!

I will choose from the Eclectic table!

1) What super power would you chose if you could

Invisibility.

2) If you could learn a single new skill to perfection in one night, what would you learn.

Probably coding, specifically cryptography. Or Brazilian Ju-Jitsu.

3) What language have you always wanted to learn and why

Russian. I'm a bit of a Russophile, I guess. I have a keen interest in the Soviet Era, Russian Orthodoxy, and Dostoevskian existentialism.

4) Tell us a happy memory

I don't seem to have any that aren't tainted by my current disposition. You know how people look upon the past with nostalgia because they view it as better than it actually was? I'm sort of the opposite. I don't know if there was ever a moment in my past that I was ever truly happy, or that didn't have some sort of retrospectively-recognized negative context.

5) Tell us something we dont know.

There's a legend about a woman who disguised herself as a man and became Pope. Pope Joan.

Yes, time to make some....I have my mother's recipe and it's been awhile since I've made them. and Yes to Farmer's cheese...they don't sell it in any grocers down here, I have to order it and have it delivered. And *agreed... Ricotta is a poor substitute......
Kippermaki:D...lol......I've never tried from the can. My mother used to buy them at the deli and broil them with onions...I haven't seen or had them since I last took a cruise 20 plus years ago on Norwegian.....and I ordered them every morning for breakfast on that trip.....heaven.

Thanks for the tag @Dante and sorry I'm late.
I'm gonna go to both the question tables because they both look fun

1) What is your favourite food Scallops or ice cream
2) What is your LEAST favourite food Non-roasted beets or black licorice
3) What food reminds you of better times Pupusas because they remind me of San Francisco and I haven't been able to get them so readily here. IDK if I'd call it better times, but I'll at least admit to it being a better place.
4) Do you know and love any good that most people probably haven't tried IDK
5) Do you know any great places to eat? A ton. If anybody ever comes to Pittsburgh, I'd be able to recommend them some good places. Also to a lesser degree San Francisco-- some of my old haunts have undoubtedly closed, as it's coming up on 5 years since I left ( :( )
6) Tell us something we dont know about food or drink I don't wanna presume what other people do or don't know.

1) What super power would you chose if you could
Flight because that sounds glorious.
2) If you could learn a single new skill to perfection in one night, what would you learn. Computer programming or drawing and/or painting
3) What language have you always wanted to learn and why Dutch because it just looks so cool.
4) Tell us a happy memory Going out on a boat on Lake Geneva with one of my French host families on my trip to France/Switzerland.
5) Tell us something we dont know. See above

2) If you could learn a single new skill to perfection in one night, what would you learn.

I'd like to play violin. I'm making plans to getting started.
THe violin is a difficult piece to learn because it is played by feel, not so mechanical as other instruments. Like the guitar, you have chords marked out on it, it is just a matter of learning where to place your fingers. The violin requires you to learn the angle at which to put your bow. I love good violin music, the violin is my favorite instrument.
