I think that means *cough* that people might not only count traditional sex as sex and therefore they aren't clear whether to count the number for the person they were doing other activities with. Such as girl on girl. Or.. other things. Okay, yeah, I can't.
Yeah, you better stop there, Matt, or you'll be digging a hole for yourself
......and for some, that might count as well *hysterical

Now wait a second. Not that @sinking_ship post wasn't clear enough for me to understand what she meant but I think this is called favoritism and nepotism. Someone is allowed to talk about some "contest" and the others are prohibited to ask about "sex that's not awfully heteronormative".

So I'm re-reading Manson's entire book (the author, not the Antichrist Superstar). As I read each page, I realize that these are such helpful principles to live by. The first chapter, called, "Don't Try" tells us not to try to be something we're not, and instead accept who we already are.

To quote Manson, "The desire for more positive experiences is in itself a negative experience; the acceptance of one's negative experiences is in itself a positive experience." Philosopher Alan Watts called this the backwards law, and it works.

"Suffering through your fears and anxieties allows you to build courage and perseverance." So in other words, stop wishing to not be afraid. Instead, be afraid, suffer through it, and accept it.

Don't try to convince yourself that you're beautiful in front of a mirror. Truly happy people already believe that they're beautiful and don't need to repeat affirmations to themselves in order to make themselves believe it. Don't try. Just be. *cough cough* @Witty_Sarcasm

The more you pursue feeling better, the worse you're going to feel. So accept that you feel like shit and ironically enough, you'll actually start to feel better.

Thank you, I'll try to remember that I feel like shit but I am beautiful, haha. You are a beautiful person as well.

I hope you didn't see it as I was singling you out or anything. I just often see you struggle with your self-image and body image. And I don't want you to have to repeat affirmations in front of a mirror. I want you to already know that you're beautiful. 😘

No, I like that you said it and I appreciate it. And it feels weird saying nice things about myself because I am not used to it. But when others see good things in me, I'm more apt to see them in myself, because everyone can't be wrong.

What's the book called?

The last point I've actually found. When I accept how much I want to destroy myself I don't need to act on it, otherwise the need just waves its hand to get my attention.

Listening to the new Rammstein record be like revising your german verbs.

Literally the lyrics go :
Überheblich = overbearing
Überlegen = to think
Übernehmen = to take over
Übergeben = to surrender
Überraschen = to surprise
Überfallen = to attack
...
Let's not forget their most famous chorus.
Du = you
Du hast = you have
Du hast mich = you hate me
Du hast mich gefragt = You have asked me
A fun little lesson in the intricacies of the german language :L
