Musings, ideas, what are you thinking about?

My life is always finding resources too late, after I’m already in dire need of them. The universe is like, “Nope. I’m not helping you when you need it.” Then, after my life goes to hell, it’s like, “Oh, here’s what you’ve been looking for.” It’s no use now, but the universe throws you a bone anyway. A recurring theme in my life is too little, too late.

The craziest thing about life is that, except people who have died, everyone you love and admire, actually everyone you ever knew briefly in your existence, is living right now and sleeping, dreaming, eating or looking at something right now. Everyone is the same while living. No one is living a life totally removed from mine, and I'm not living a life totally removed from them.

People who have died are also living in a way too. We barely know how much people are thinking of them and how much they are missed. If they are remembered briefly or with huge grief by someone, we are not able to know.

I can actually see most people I love or like living right now in my head. Shopping, sleeping, dining, working, resting, being bored, being out of their minds, thinking secret thoughts, hating me, loving me, ignoring me, bothered by someone, waiting for someone,

I think my dog is really smart. Or smart enough to know something's wrong with me anyway.

When my mom or my niece feeds her, she jumps on them and hits their legs. When I feed her, she jumps next to me, like she knows my balance is bad and hitting me will knock me over.

She likes when I pet her with my left (good) hand, but will avoid the bad one.

When she sees people coming, she’ll get all excited and run to them and squirm between their ankles but, when she sees me, It’s like she knows that bending over is hard because of aforementioned balance issues, so she’ll get up on the back of a chair or the couch to make herself easy to reach, then tap dance on it while making unbroken eye contact until I pay attention to her.

Or maybe I’m reading too much into things.

^ I think dogs, and animals in general, are just deeply loving, sweet, sensitive and intelligent. That kind of thing proves it to me, it sounds like your dog loves you very much and wants to show it as much as it can. That really is so sweet :) I love dogs and animals so much 🥰❤️

What I’m thinking about right now is Easter, cos I decided I’ll be going to my sis’s for that weekend after all. I was pretty torn up and undecided about it for a while, but since it might be the last time we get to see her before…June…then I dunno, it just feels important somehow. Plus they changed some things around in their place and I’m curious to see it. Hoping it will go far more smoothly than at Christmas.

I always wanted to get an airpod since the moment they came out, but then the price doesn’t really justify the product for me, specially when people who reviewed it ended up loosing half of the pair so easily, and the fact the so many wireless earbuds can do the same for a lower price…

and that is still happening to this day.

That maybe I'm not relationship material, that my norm of solitude does not translate well to opening my life to another. Although I've grown, and accomplished much self-improvement, I'm still sensitive to criticism.
I don't do anger well, that my partner communictes her anger, quickly, without warning, usually without much thought, and I'm not used to that. I learned when I was young that any expression of anger was met with physical consequences, so I learned to stuff my feelings. I absorb a lot of that without responding, but when I do get angry, it's a deep, simmering anger that lasts for 2 or 3 days.
I withdraw, and minimize input/output. Basically the cold shoulder or silent treatment. Walking past each other, pretending that we are both invisible, then eventually, tentatively, we edge closer, trying to mantain whatever fragile balance there is. I don't care for slammed doors (although I've found I do that well) or even raised voices, usually the misunderstanding could have been avoided, with a simple comment or question.

peace

Big Ben, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace... Now tourists can add Wet Wipe Island to the list of must-see attractions in England's capital. The Times in London reported that an island the size of two tennis courts and composed entirely of used wet wipes has appeared in the Thames River. Government ministers have asked people to stop using the wipes and are considering a ban on those that contain plastic.
Fleur Anderson, a labor party mp, said she has visited the site: "I've stood on it---it's near Hammersmith Bridge in the Thames and it's a meter deep or more in places. It's actually changed the course of the Thames."

This was a common point of difference in mine and Jessica’s relationship. She was quick to anger, but just as quick to get over it. It took me longer to get angry, but I would hold onto it indefinitely.
