When your lips are chapped, and Chapstick just doesn't seem to help.
When you accidentally Dutch oven yourself (how did that one get there?)
Barely being able to cross the street before someone tries to run you over
Getting food particles stuck in your teeth and gums
When your phone rings at like 9 AM on a Saturday and it's really just some stupid shit.

My petty complaint today is the size of chocolate bars. They're getting more expensive but shrinking in size

I had a mars bar the other day and it was much smaller than they used to be. I never used to be able to eat a whole one but now I could probably eat 2 of them!

Ok, it's more than petty but I couldn't find where else to post it and I sure as heck couldn't be bothered starting a new thread :o

So, I'm waking up with a tight chest (anxiety) and my stomach is in knots. I just don't want to get out of bed and want to go back to sleep where things are *happy*. I'm in bed and about to go to sleep and I'm dreading feeling like this again in the morning. It's not a nice way to start the day :(
I'm sure there's other's that can relate. It's only been the last few mornings... grumble, grumble...

I get this quite a lot Kira. Hate to know that feeling but I do, it's not a petty complaint, its a legit one, only thing that helps me when im really wound up like that is drinking ginger (good for anxiety related nausea) and breathing exercises, (hugs)

Thanks Lynn :)
I've been told to drink ginger also. I had incredibly bad nausea just before I started moving house. I was taking anti-nausea medication but it wasn't working. Hopefully I'll go to the shops tomorrow and buy some. ox

Yeah hands down the ginger will be better than any anti nausea med. It's good for you too! :) Sleep tight x

I can relate too. I don't have buterflies in my stomach; I have spiders! I'm a coward and don't dare to face all that I have to, so my eyelids close and I fall asleep. Out of sight, out of mind... but it's the ostrich's tactic. The to-face is there, waiting patiently...

Why can't people understand your time is as important as theirs??? I have this pupil who started university this week. As all the youngsters, she always has an eye on the cell screen. I asked her YESTERDAY if we were going to have our class today. She answered 5 minutes ago!

God, technology pisses me off so much sometimes. Granted, it has its positives because it's a lot easier to obtain knowledge than it used to be, but people use it for the wrong things and continue to stay stupid. For others, it impacts negatively on their mental health.

My petty complaint today is my daughters neighbor. The guy is a bigot! He told the other neighbor that when my daughter and her fiancé had a backyard cookout with their friends that it sure was "dark" over there. OMFG. I wish I could say/do something just to irritate him.
