People.... I was this close to getting the laptop.


I went to best buy. Decided to take the plunge and get a 15.2" laptop with dvd player and touch screen capabilities. Got an employee and asked to get me that laptop. He looked on the shelves then on his computer.

They were out of stock. Told me to go to another store. F##$%


Dejected and went home. Brought a bigger version with better memory on Amazon for the same price with insurance. Now gotta wait for it to arrive 5 to 8 business days.

i don't really want to talk about it. i would rather have something extra to give to my family than myself... it just feels selfish if i give in and buy it.

nah, they're not like that, if they see you happy, they'll try to find it and destroy it... some family members prefer seeing you in distress because it makes them feel better about their miserable life.

people doing "kindness" acts because it's the holidays, and the news cover it...

i just wish these people do these acts regardless what day of the year it is, and because they really want to, not because they want recognition...

because i know some shelters here only go out of their way to help when the media covers it or prominent people are involved... as a regular person asking them they would say they lack funds and people to help out, but when the media is there all of the sudden they become this "hero" claiming they want nothing in return... 🤔🙄😒

I try to compliment my friend and lift him up, but he constantly seeks to put himself down and I don't know how to deal with that.

And yes, I can have trouble accepting compliments, but I still do accept them and don't try to argue the point to death every time. Makes me wonder if I should even keep trying because nothing I do is helping him.
