Ah, .5 makes much more sense. So wait, your doctor said to take a single .5 in half a dose twice a day? If that's the case, no wonder it's not doing anything for you. That wouldn't do anything for anyone.

I get 1mg three times a day currently. But I had the .5's before I got the 1's, and those didn't do anything for me either. And that was 3x a day also, not split in half.

I feel like I don't want to burden anyone with my issues anymore.
You keep saying that, yet no one is complaining. What is it that would make people happier if you weren't here anymore? Which people? I don't think that is what others want. Or I want evidence of that. I think it is you feeling like a burden for some reasons. What makes you feel that way, Witty? :(
Disappearing doesn't help anyone, nor you nor others. Send me a PM whenever you need to. ♡

Yeah she was worried that was gonna be to much so she said I could then split them in quarters. But I took the whole k-pin one time and still nothing. Disappointing. But oh well, my side effects from Wellbutrin have been minimal :/

I apologize for my earlier outbursts. I was feeling insecure once again. I asked my bf if he accepts me as I am, all parts, and he said he does. And I know that others do as well, so I shouldn't question it.

Wow. She was worried it'd be too much? And you also said, I believe, that the Klonopin was only for a month, right? From the sounds of it, it seems she really doesn't want you to build a tolerance to these things. But if your doctor is really that by-the-book, then I wouldn't expect anything more than 10's if she does give you the Adderall. Which if that's the case, and depending on whether they're instant release or extended release, there's a chance that that won't do much for you either. Most people with ADHD find that they need at least the 20mg Adderall for it to make a difference. Although, I can even see her wanting to start you off with a medication that's non-narcotic rather than the Adderall in the first place. I swear, I don't understand doctors who are that anal about this stuff when the patient really needs the medication.

I want to rant about the new boss that I have now. She demands perfection from a job that she knows nothing about (except for what she probably read about in an article or saw in a youtube video), and expects it, but despite my best efforts and those of my coworkers, we can't succeed at this. It really stresses me out and pisses me off too.

Sometimes I want to tell that **** to fuck herself, but... I wouldn't stay employed very long if I did that, so I'd rather do it here (but also, I probably don't know enough about her to really judge, so that is why I am putting it in a thread for petty rants).

Now my bitchfest is over. Kay, thanx, bai!

Yeah, my therapist is backing me up though on the whole needing a stimulant. So if she say 10g I’ll try to argue. I just want something that works for once. but she is the only psychiatrist on island. Smh.

Well, even though I do totally agree with you that it's BS, I wouldn't press your luck and try to argue for the 20's when you're first starting out on the medication. If she gives you 10's, my advice is to humor her, and try them out. And then when you go to your next appt, that's when you tell her it's not working very well (but only if that's the truth, of course), and see if she will then increase it. Worst case scenario, if she doesn't, you can always see another doctor and the fact that you will have already been prescribed Adderall once before will hugely benefit you and make it much more likely that the new doc will increase the dose for you. Whereas if you argue with her about it, and she looks at it as you're "drug-seeking", and decides to change her mind about giving it to you at all, that wouldn't be good.

Yeah that's what I worry about. But all this waiting and coming back is taking moths. I just wanna be helped. She doesn't even know me really. She comes down here once every three months. I'm frustrated at the process.

Ugh. I hear you, I really do. My psych only gives me appointments every three months as well. So basically, if whatever he gives me isn't working, thats three months I have to wait until I can tell him so. It's fucking annoying as hell. But despite how much it all blows, I'm just telling you what the best thing would be to do here because I've been through it as well. When mine gave me the .5 Klonopin at first, I knew those things wouldn't do a damn thing for me. But I had also waited many months before I even got a doctor to agree to give me Klonopin in the first place. And I needed them badly. I was having severe panic attacks to the point that I was going to the emergency room even because I was so hysterical that I didn't know what else to do with myself. And despite all of that, it took forever to get some actual help. I literally broke down crying in his office because of how desperate I had become. It was an everyday thing. And when he agreed to give them to me, despite it being that low of a dose, I knew that I finally at least had an opening that would make it much more likely for my dose to be increased in the future, whether by him or another doctor. So I didn't argue and took the win, however small of a win it may have been. I humored him, played it slow, and he ended up increasing it three months later. And even though it was a huge pain in the ass to get there, I finally got the much needed relief I was waiting for for so long.
