you know, I think it's about time we got to the bottom of this
Yanni thing. I mean, who is this guy? does anyone actually
listen to that drivel? anyway, just thought I'd veer off topic for
a quick sec and see if anyone was still awake. the thread itself is giving
me the yawns. but then, that can be a good thing. because sleep
deprivation is bad for motor coordination, rational judgement etc..
example, I bought a Yanni CD the other day and didn't even realize
it till I woke up the next day. that fifth of grey goose may have played
a small part in the purchase, but not necessarily. so, on that note....

this really sums up the debate

Oh shit, is this a serious thread? One that doens't appreciate the idiocy of these debates?

Okay. On topic, I'll avoid sleep deprived and liquor induced humor.

Religious discussions are ridiculous: whomever argues from the religious side their argument boils done to "I'm right because BLANK says so."

Athiest feel all self-righteous and shit and say "no, your wrong because you can't prove BLANK can be right, so HAH!" (you're life is a waste).

Religious2: Nuttuh! Both of you are wrong because BLANK2 is right, suck it douchebags.

Repeat Athiest (godtards suck)

Religious 1(3): Suckit shitslicks I AM RIGHT

and this continues . . . forever.
and while colloquially expressed, this is essentially correct

But you can say that about any debate if you wanted to.

The alternative to debates/discussions is to never talk to one another and let's all live without the fear of anyone questioning our worldview, no matter how bizarre and destructive they may become.

just in case you were posting to me, I agree. you're totally correct.
and I have no objection to the topic in this thread. eh...I was just kidding
anyway. "colloquially expressed but essentially correct" is a Spock-ism
from the episode featuring the hemoglobin sucking cloud/monster. Bones
explained to Captain Quirk that Spock wasn't dead because of that "Green
Blood, and it probably left a bad taste in it's mouth too" to which Spock said
...."Colloquially etc..

I was just joking. I think I was eating a samwitch at the time or something.
ye olde "nix politics and religion whilst consuming mass quantities" adage
must have popped into me head. right then. as you were. debate em if ya
got em gentlemen..and ladies too

Yeah it was directed at you Clam, I just didnt what bits to quote.

I miss old Star Trek now and then. Lots of gods in there, though if you count all the Q's, not as many as all the other series. I do remember Apollo, some Q type guy and that floating head God at the center of the galaxy in the old Trek though. Good times.
