It is hard to limit yourself @Innocent Forever but before making them or buying them, ask yourself... Do I really want to feed my body these cookies, don't the cons outweigh the pros?

@Woowoo well done for having a great day and limiting yourself to just one drink.
The problem is that the pros for just 3 or so outweigh the cons. I've no issue allowing myself to enjoy a little of it. 3 cookies as a treat (they're small) are fair enough. Sometimes it stays at that. Usually not though.....
Unless I just don't eat them at all.... will think about it :)
Or rather as you say, just don't make them.

I didn't have the best day today, but it wasn't a complete disaster either.

For breakfast I just had green tea, for lunch I had sushi, this afternoon I had an almond milk, spinach and blackberry smoothie as a snack and then for dinner I had a hot pork sandwich. However, I also had some plum crumble that a friend made for me with some cream.

I drank more water than yesterday, but still not enough (I drank about a litre)

Exercise- wise I went out for a 15 minute walk at lunchtime but I didn't quite get up to 8000 steps today.

Hugs @Petal. You get as many fresh starts as you need! Do the best you can and keep moving forward.
I didn't exercise today. Except for walking through a crowded shopping mall...I exercised my patience, that's what I did.

Having a bad day is OK @Petal Don't beat yourself up over it, just try harder today. I didn't have the best day yesterday either, but today we will both do great :)

I'm going to try to stop buying naughty treats I think. If they're not in the house I can't eat them. For example, I sometimes buy a 4 pack of chocolate bars to have as an occasional treat but if I have a bad day then I'll have 2 (or even 3 or 4 if it's a really bad day). Or I'll buy a big bag of crisps and eat them in one sitting. I need to learn to view other, healthier snacks as a treat and just buy a single bar of chocolate as a treat maybe once every couple of weeks.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I made a good start to the day by eating a healthy breakfast and doing 30 minutes of exercise :)

It is exactly 16 weeks to Christmas I want to lose 2lbs a week, that's 32lbs by Christmas? Can I do it? I'm going to give it my all and let it be the best Christmas gift ever. The gift of health.

My intermittant fasting is currently lying in tatters! Not only did I get up in the night to eat, I got up to eat the things I've given up eating. But it is exceptionally stressful time and so Im not feeling too bad about it. In fact, am proud to still be (I think!) just about sane. Will jog to little Morocan cafe today and get tea to walk back with.

I start trying to lose weight since 4 months ago, aiming for a kilo a month, so far still on track. It gets harder and harder though

I am now 4 kilos away from my optimum weight. We’ll see
Yes the less you have to lose the harder it is to come off and easier to gain muscle weight and such sometimes I think finding a good weight and maintaining is a good way to go. But then again keeping stricter might help me lose the weight and keep it off. I think for myself this is going to be a life long battle hugs all

I've had a good day today.

Here's what I consumed:
* just coffee for breakfast
* a smoothie for lunch
* prawn salad with a sandwich thin for dinner followed by some melon and grapes

I had no alcohol again today, but I still haven't drunk as much water as I should (about a litre again).

I went for a walk this morning and, with all the other walking, I've done more than 16000 steps today :)

How is everyone else getting on?
