Heeeeelo people :) I'm getting this set up for September so we can plan for our goals.

Want to eat healthier this month? Want to lose a few pounds? Want to exercise a bit more? Need motivation? Need encouragement, ideas, tips?

Look no further as we are here as peers to help each other in our September thread for whatever goals we have in mind. I you have any tips, please share.

What is YOUR goal?

I am currently 132.6g and would like to get down to 126kg by October 1st! That is roughly a stone. (14lbs), (As I have a lot to lose).

Lets share our goals and dreams and inspire each other.

My sleeping is getting back to normal. I know being awake at this time seems to belie that but I went to bed early and am going back to bed soon (once had an egg ofc!). Have been getting enough exercise I think but too much has been on exercise bike inside and so hope to start jogging tommorow. As far as the cafe, get tea and walk back is the aim. Might even get breakfast if can hold out that long.
Diet is good in terms of what I eat but I think Im still struggling a bit with IF and eating too much chococolate. I reach for chocolate buttons as some folk reach for drink I guess. Same thing.
Other areas working on are purpose and socialising. Ive neglected my friends as got more depressed and hope to start this week to make ammends and also aim to get out to support group twice a week. The folk there are great. As for purpose, Ive started writing book, which may get nowhere, but starting it tells me that I still have some residual hope deep down. A little smouldering ember that can be fanned back into life.
so here are things to work on aims:
1. jog twice a week (if folk can cope with seeing my bear legs that often).
2. Cut down chocolate to normal levels.
3. Keep at IF, as I thnk it is really important.
4. Support group twice a week and start going out with them afterwards for beer.
5. Write notes every day for book.
6. Hyponotherapy video 3 times a day.

thats it :)

Thanks for the tag @Petal :)

I think that the place where I live now stimulates me even more, to hit the gym more often. It's becoming easier to go there, thankfully. This week I went to do fitness on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday and today on Friday.
That's 4 times in 5 days, so I do feel tired now - in a good way. :p This week I'm sleeping better too, woke up at 6:30 am - 7:30 am on all days so far. I do go to bed earlier.

Buying new sports clothes with my dad later today is a nice bonus (motivator) too... And have a nice dinner.

Goal for September:
Feel fit, wake up at around 7:00 am on Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri and keep exercising throughout the week as long as I don't hit a brick wall or limit (exhaustion, muscle pain).
Of course this will help me lose weight too, but it's somehow not my primary goal at the moment > This gives a bit more relief.

Just knowing that I can feel way better while exercising and after I'm done exercising is the biggest motivating factor at the moment. Even if I don't see a lower number when I weigh myself, will not be very demotivating anymore.

The thing with waking up early has to do with the fact that other activities that I wish to do on a day, can now happen sooner rather than late in the evening.

My goal is to workout at least 3 times a week. I am a bit sore my muscles ache. So glad I am not working out for a few days. I have noticed that I need to do more triceps exercises and less biceps. I would also like to concentrate more on lower body. My biceps are getting too big  and I mean in the desired way:p lol

First, I met my goal for exercising at least 5x a week in August. I lost another two pounds. I did not met my goal with cooking at home and trying a new recipe a week.

This month my goal is to exercise at least 5x a week.
Complete my daily gratitude journal.
Read a book.
Try a new recipe each week

Good luck everyone!

This month I'm determined that I'll lose weight.

In August I stuck to the IF, but I just keep putting on weight. I'm now heavier than I've been since June last year :(

So, as well as continuing with the IF, my goals for Sept are:

*cut down on the amount of carbs I'm eating, particularly bread.
* cut down on the amount of alcohol I'm drinking. I'm going to try to have at least 3 alcohol free days a week.
* exercise more. Go for a walk of at least 30 minutes 3 times a week, do at least 8000 steps every day and do some toning exercises 3 times a week.
*drink more water and green tea.
*visit this thread every day for the rest of the month to report progress. I need to feel accountable to someone to motivate me.

Hopefully by doing that I can lose 4 lbs this month. My longer aim is to lose a stone by Christmas.

Good luck everyone - together we can do this :D

6 out of 7 days of fitness this week! :o Not sure why I didn't go on Wednesday, perhaps I felt more resistance (and anxiety) than usual...

I hit the gym again today, was good. Tomorrow I'll be going to a brand new activity for me, will be once a week every Monday. It's 25 minutes by public transport. They offer soccer (in a big sports room) as well as basketball, badminton and other sports completely free! :)

Knowing myself I will at least try to do both fitness and the new sports activity tomorrow.
I have to make a new schedule for next week, gonna be a bit busier and I might not be able to do exercise every day (I will try to make time either way).
