 I did exercise early in the morning, - 1 hour max though, I felt less energy and OCD / anxiety has drained quite a lot of my energy this week. However I'm glad I did go to the gym without feeling too much resistance. :)

Yay for you, keep it up :)

@Petal I reached the goal for today I suppose..
I just reached it too High five :D

From tomorrow it is 100 days to Christmas. I have a plan that I hope will work, I hope to lose 2.5 stone by then, that's 35 lbs. I am very overweight so I will probably lose weight faster than say someone much thinner.

Anyone else want to make a goal for the 100 day countdown?
I'm still shooting for 175lbs, if I got there by Christmas I'd be happy. Not sure how much I weigh currently though

I finally feel better, I think my tiredness was simply because I wasn't eating enough. Now I have a lot of pasta in my tum-tum and I feel better (-^_^-)
Tonight I will go bouldering again, I hope I will have enough strength :) I need more proteins I think, I should cook lentils or chickpeas instead of pasta ._. or maybe boulgour ! with a few red pepper it would be great I'm sure.

@Petal fantastic it seems you're on the right track ;) keep it up !

@Woowoo It seems that you don't need sport anymore since you run around all day haha !

@Kiwi2016 what do I read ? a Challenge ? Awesome *puts on karate band* ON FIRE ! I'm sure you will manage, don't worry too much for chocolate, it's good to indulge sometimes :)
Yes chocolate is my weakness and ice cream...

So, I had another OK day yesterday. I went out to the theatre in the afternoon with friends and then out for dinner. I knew there'd be a lot of calories involved so I didn't have breakfast or lunch and I went out for a walk in the morning. So in the evening I ate some bread and olives to start, followed by chicken with mash, tenderstem broccoli and a mushroom sauce and then chocolate ice cream with warm salted caramel sauce. I also drank quite a bit, but all gins with slimline tonic so not as many calories as wine.

I had a healthy day yesterday. This was how it went;

Breakfast: oats & yogurt
Lunch: Chicken and stuffing slimbos
Dinner: Chicken caesar salad
Snacks: 1 yogurt, pineapple, strawberries, raisins

Exercise: 30 minutes on treadmill

What are everyone's goals for today? Mine is to do 30 minutes exercise.

What is your goal @Woowoo Do you have one?

That sounds perfect Petal. Ive just finished a bag of chocolate buttons. So not the healthiest of breakfasts! But Ive sent off for a karate exercises book, as use to do when I was a kid and thought it would be good now for fitness and mindfulness and if I ever meet a ninja.

Good luck Petal.

I have several goals today:
* To go for a long walk
* To have an alcohol free day
* To eat healthily. I've had a few not so great days, not disasterous, but not great, so need to rein it in

I've actually had a good day today. I went for a 4 mile walk this morning & have done over 13000 steps in total. I just had coffee for breakfast, a cereal bar and fruit for lunch and salmon salad with a jacket potato for dinner so less than 1000 calories. Drink wise I just had water and iced green tea.

So, 2 weeks ago I set some goals for the month and I want to check progress at the end of week 2:
* cut down on the amount of carbs I'm eating, particularly bread. I've eaten less but still need to do better with this.
* cut down on the amount of alcohol I'm drinking. I'm going to try to have at least 3 alcohol free days a week. I only managed 1 alcohol free day this week but have only had 1 or 2 a day so have cut down.
* exercise more. Go for a walk of at least 30 minutes 3 times a week, do at least 8000 steps every day and do some toning exercises 3 times a week. I went for a walk of at least 30 minutes 4 times this week and did more than 8000 steps every day (I've done about 79000 steps in total this week) but only managed running exercises once.
* drink more water and green tea. I've drunk more but still need to drink more.
* visit this thread every day for the rest of the month to report progress. I've done that.
* lose 4 pounds. I've lost 1 this week.

I hope everyone else has had a good day :)

The good news is that I lost 24 pounds in the past 3 months. The bad news is that I am prediabetic. But I am working to improve my health.
Well done on the weight loss Witty, that's brilliant :)

I'm sorry to hear that you're prediabetic, but I'm guessing the weight loss will have helped. What are your goals to improve your health to avoid becoming diabetic?

I've had another good day. Nothing for breakfast except coffee, chicken salad for lunch and low fat Jamaican jerk curry with rice for dinner. Exercise wise, I went for a 45 minute walk this evening and have done just over 10000 steps in total. And it's been an alcohol free day :D
