Feels like all I’ve been doing is seeing doctor after doctor after doctor. Apparently having a heart attack at 38 is kind of a big deal, who would have guessed?
here, lemme show you something:
these are all the new meds I’ve been prescribed over the last month. 14 of them. Some taken once a day, some twice, some three times, some as needed, some with food, some on an empty stomach, one I have to remember to dissolve under my tongue (as an aside, nitroglycerin has the same effects as amyl nitrite poppers, only longer lasting). It’s too goddamn much to keep track of, even with my old-person pill caddy.
got two more appointments tomorrow, then another next week. Probably have a dozen more prescriptions to keep track of before I’m done.
