Thank you so much!

art has always been a huge part of my life and I’m just glad I’m able to do it again. I don’t do illustrations anymore but more contemporary drawing and paintings. Very different from that piece ha ha!

will have to share some more of my newer works! A lot of life drawing and I call ‘vintage noodles’. Are you an artist too? There’s nothing better than making marks, creating raw lines and paint strokes! Can’t beat it! He he x
No, definitely no (on the 'Artist,' question? ...or 'inquiry!') ;^) oh, how I WISH - though. . . And yes! Please do feel free to share whatever you think you can, and is going to be okay for you. I used to love to draw as a child. I'd make figures like wrestlers & superhero's. And even on the back of paper placemats at restaurants, my parents always said I was drawing and creating comics, and things like that all the time. Then at some point or time around maybe the age of 10, or 11, it all stopped. When I got mocked and ridiculed at school, for always in essence, or essentially doing the same exact thing whenever I drew (I think, or as memory serves; which is, admittedly: not very well these days!).
Interestingly enough, in more recent times, like when I'd be part of a hospitlization program or something; and they'd have us all do these artistic exercises, or I guess there was often times a bit of more creative freedom, or license there. I'd always draw. And it's like, it took me back to that very experience. And my skills , though eroded or faded terribly & incredibly. . . I think you could still tell (or I could, anyways!) that it was me- ;)
Yes, we change, and so it is only a reasonable and sensible thing to expect that our art, or whatever might reflect that. It's called, "growth!" (i think..;))
You know, I play the guitar, sort of - & anyway, there's been many times in the past where I've been so depressed I have not even been able to crack open the case, say nothing of picking it up and actually playing it, or anything like that! And what always strikes me, is how... there is no-thing else that can replace or replicate that feeling I get, when playing (& sometimes even singing) my instrument. I can't find another exercise or substitute, that gives me that exact same feeling. Nothing comes even close, really - or honestly! So, I'm glad you've got yours & that it is continuing to grow- :)
