My username is a shortened version of "Science liberates us" in Latin.

I didn't use my usual username here because of privacy concerns but it is somewhat similar.

I value freedom and reason very much and I think that reason can liberate humanity from its problems. Science gave us antibiotics, a means of intercontinental travel, the Internet, and so on.

Science is my god, so to speak, though I'm aware it has no morality.

“Corvus” was a nickname from my two closest friends from school. It died quickly, but I still use it for usernames because those friends of mine are very dear to me. Lately I feel like I’ve been slowly drifting away from them, and I miss them, even though I still see one of them at school (the other moved to another school last month, and I’ve only contacted her once since then). I’m very distant at school, and that one friend is the only person in my grade I can talk to the most comfortably.
