I am completely screwed for quitting.
I’m allergic to the glue in nicotine patches. The lozenges and gum irritates my tummy, the spray hurts my throat.
The only thing that worked for me was an app called easy way to stop smoking. But it only works the first time you listen to it. I quit really well after the first time, but started again. I’ve tried listening to it again, but because I know the script now, it’s lost it’s effect.
The stupid thing is I only smoke at home. I can be out for a full day, even around others who are smoking, and not even have one craving, but for some reason I always have to have one or two before bed. After work I have to have at least one or two.
In the mornings, no cravings. During the day, if I’m home I might have one in the afternoon, I might not.
So really, I’m only smoking after work and before bed, but I can’t quit.
If anyone has any advice I would be really really grateful.
