This title piqued my interest. It arrived the other day and just made a start on it. So far, I like the translation very much.

I knew about DSM-5 for a while now. First time hearing about ICD 11 for some reason.... omg!

I have recently finished four books!

• The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah : it was "ok". It remains a little on the surface and cliché for a WWII story, everything happens fast and the ending is too pretty.
• So Late in the Day by Claire Keegan : a surprising, simple short story which hides a lot beneath its beautiful prose.
• Brontë - Poems by Emily Brontë : gorgeous poems that I love to read and memorize, best in nature or some gardens.
• Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree : rather unexpected super-cozy fantasy. There is barely any plot, but it is intriguing and well-written. I loved it, but if you enjoy action, you'll fall asleep to this.

I'm currently reading :
• Foster by Claire Keegan : a short story, I started this morning and will finish it later.
• Little Women by Louisa May Alcott : a classic. I've seen one of the films, but the writing style is SO worth reading it.

I'll probably read a Dickens after that.

I've read Life: A Natural History of the First Four Billion Years of Life on Earth - Richard Fortey

Didn't even wanted to read another biology book, but it was too catchy and well written (if you are into those subjects) though the guy meanders a lot.

Also read Brás, Bexiga e Barra Funda - Antônio de Alcântara Machado.

I recommend it to people who enjoy books that mess with your head and leave you with a strange feeling afterward. It’s not a light read, but there’s something about it that keeps you wanting to understand the character more...

Dust - by Hugh Howey

Finished Shift (book 2) recently at quite a slow pace, but was worth it!

Dust is book 3 of the Silo Series Trilogy, there's an AppleTV+ show which inspired me to buy that book trilogy.

("Silo" season 3 starts ~ 3 July this year!)

After finishing Little Women, I decided to read something more "serious" and picked up Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf. Oh boy. For some reason I found it very difficult to read. The "stream of consciousness" style often required me to reread passages many times to really understand what was happening, what the characters were thinking, what the metaphors meant. It's beautiful and brilliant writing, but tedious. I'll certainly read more. :p

Next on my list is a contemporary book : The Artist by Lucy Steeds. No idea what to expect.

This book became one of my favourite reads before I finished it. I'm going to buy another copy of it, this time in its paperback format so I can keep it on my shelf.
