I tend to lean towards nonexistence. Id like to believe in Heaven, but after so many attempts to try and bring God into my life only to feel absolute nothingness, it just feels like God either doesn't exist or is just completely disconnected from us.

Nonexistence always seems to be what my mind thinks of when I think about killing myself. But that aching suspicion that God exists and that He might punish me to Hell for committing suicide still does scare me.

all i know is that there is no such thing as nothing and consciousness can't be destroyed so when i die i'm guessing i will be either in a realm where my consciousness is free of a physical entrapment and i feel what it is like to be not in a physical realm or maybe i am born into some different type of body or i'm not sure man. all i know is consciousness can't be destroyed

How do you know that consciousness can't be destroyed? You can temporarily lose it when you go into a coma. Who says you can't permanently lose it when you die?

This is probably the trainin' for purgatory, take all the bad things you done and multiply it by 5 and subtract it from all the good things you have done, while your on the earth....that's your sentence in the real purgatory, after the sentence is finished,ya go to heaven.I'm thinkin' I'd have to do bout 5,000years, but meh, if I can survive this hell hole, I think I'll do fine.

Sounds simple right? Put life in terms of Math. I like the idea, but I think life couldn't be put into any formula. After death, in my opinion, is something that we should not try to figure out. I think we should focus on our current life and be productive, honest, and what you deem "a good person" . And if there is an afterlife good things may/should come. But all of this is in my opinion, I don't really like "preaching".

In the bible it even says god made us from the dirt and we will return to the earth as dirt. I don't believe in a god really. Although I'd like to. But I believe that what happeneds is nothing. We just die. Its kinda like how it was before you were born? What memories do you have of before you were born? None. Did you care that you weren't alive? No. It was nothingness. Thats what I believe we experience after death also.

Nothing. Likely one of the bigger reasons why I haven't committed suicide so far...
Me too. That not knowing kind of scares me about it, but I suppose if we all knew what it was like it would make committing a lot easier for many people. I kind of hope there is something after this life, because I can't comprehend the nothingness that is most likely waiting for me..

Once I am dead there will be nothing. I did not exist for the billions of years before I was born, and I will not exist for billions of years after I die. Is that so hard to understand? The same situation as before I came to be alive will be the situation after I cease to be alive. Sweet, beautiful nothingness. No feelings at all. Nothing. No anxiety, no insomnia. No fear, no depression. Nothing.

Well, here's what I'd LIKE to believe:
That after we die, we enter worlds sort of like in the movies "What Dreams May Come" or "Wristcutters:A Love Story". I'd especially enjoy "coming back" like in the TV show "Drop Dead Diva".

Unfortunately I realize that the most likely answer to "what happens after you die?" is that it just is nothingness. No feelings, senses, ect
A bit depressing...but then again, we won't feel so how would we know it's depressing? We wouldn't...ahh so hard to even imagine, eh?

I would hope that there is nothing. I'm not religious or spiritual. Considering I've been dead three minutes, I think it's safe to say there is nothing.

what will it be?

some said it will be reincarnated, some said its between heaven and hell, some said its becoming a lost spirit in world

i hope i'll go to heaven, i'm not a religious person, i just hope i can saw virgin mary with my own eyes, hug her, and sleep right near to her so i can feel her warmth, thats it, no more no less

sounds a little funny...

I personally believe that there is nothing after death. And if there is life after death (or something to that effect), then that would really suck. Why? Because I already don't want to live this one... and I can't even imagine having to live another one for eternity.
